Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Urge :( 7.5 ...! I blame the 3 (just 3!) almond M&M's I had. My absolute fav sweet snack, a friend bought them back from the US for me. 30 minutes after eating I was at 9.0! Maybe it'll be two at a time ... very occasionally - at least my 4 bags will last for months!

6.1 @ 9:30am. A bit disappointed TBH.

Don't be.

I would have been glad of a reading like that in the first 3 months after I was Diagnosed.

My HbA1c went from 88 to 32 in those 3 months, but I rarely got a FBG level below 6 during that period. It is usually the last reading to drop.

A surprising 5.1 this morning. Take a ten minute walk around the house in between watching tv, a few times a day. Hope this tip helps.

8.5 But I had a carb heavy day yesterday what with chips, ice cream and chocolate. But not together, that would be silly. Paddling today

My dear, if I have just one of those goodies you mentioned, it would definitely send my blood sugar up the roof. I hardly touch those food, let alone look at them and don't really miss them. Do try to stay away from them if you can.

It was 13.5. Terrible I know. I got carried away on PB on whole wheat crackers late last night.

I normally have been 10.1 to 10.3 at the same time in the mornings.

Still looking forward to dying with both my feet.

Diagnosis recent and whittled it down from 41.5.....so have had my obvious challenges.
