let's hope the 5's run continues - keeping the carbs to around 30g max per day, seems to be working again

You have the same book as me !Apparently meat, fish, seafood and cheese can increase acidity in the blood and thus increase arthritis pain levels. It's been suggested that, if affected, one should limit protein from any of these sources to no more than 70g per day (about the equivalent of one chicken breast).
Alternative sources of protein are nuts, seeds, eggs, single cream (double cream contains less protein), icecream, beans, soy, yoghurt and spinach.

Animal fats not good either. Pork scratching is in the bin! Bacon rind to be cut off again. Im going to be a bit more selective of my fats. Cheese has always been controversial. Cashew nuts for my leptin level not almonds. You have the same book as me !
