Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Morning All

Don't know what happened yesterday, thought I had posted my 6.2, but it seems not.

Slightly better 5.4 this morning.

Bellatom - Geoffers is right in what he says. Our meters are only required to be +/- 15% at 10, and +/-10% at the 5 level, so I did 3 tests this morning - same finger, different places, 2 different meters. I got 6.6, 6.0 and 5.4.

Fact is, true level is probably around 6.0 - but I always take the lowest for my records, which may be cheating, but it means my trends are consistent, which, as Geoffers also says, is what is important.
 
7.3 this morning, up a bit. Doing 2 week diet doctor challenge, rather than my usual two day fast. Unsure if I can have milk, but I am in coffee and tea. Not sure why I'm moving up, as it's close to 20 carbs per day. Off on walk to compensate. :meh:

7.9 this morning, ah well we don't always get what we wish for but i'm going to smile anyway :) Just wait now to see what comes back in a few days or so

I went to bed after a day of 60carbs got up this morning g/l 7.6 couldnt believe it so redone it within 10 seconds and now reads as 6.5 this is either a miracle or cannot trust this machine.

Ummm there can be glitches, or fingers need washing again?
