As it was Friday I had fish noodle soup last night, and I haven't been eating the papaya and mango on the beach for the last two days.

21/1 Does anyone have an explanation. On waking the reading was 4.6 ten minute later 5.1 another ten minutes 5.8 . The latter being what I would expect.
Meter was calibrated a month ago and a double reading taken on Wednesday was both 5.9

Hmmm, nope. can't explain that... sorry

A very very surprising fbg of 5.4.
Wow the metformin is really helping me out now. Lost 2lb and I don't feel so bulky.
Far less insulin too.

7.8 at 9.00 am had a lay in today.

5.3 this morning a surprise as I had the highest daytime reading in months yesterday of 10.6 after evening meal and was still at 7.8 over three hours later at 11 PM.Was exactly same meal as I had had 2 weeks ago with not nearly the same result.
