Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

5.1 this morning. Pleased with that after eating trifle at lunch and finding out the lamb had pomegranate molasses in the marinade. I did find out that I like za'atar.
I do find that trifle and panna cotta of the mainstream desserts have the lowest carbs and keep my bs levels stable. Don't know if that is useful for anyone else?
Edit: It was my son who cooked the meal. 4 generations gathered. Also presented my mother in law with a photo of both her great grandsons together which delighted her.

Sorry about the cold but seems like you are on top of bs levels as they tend to rise on illness. Traditional remedies often involve lots of carbs. I haven't seen a low carb version.

Thanks. Only my second cold since diagnosis and didn’t see a noticeable rise then either. Might be because I’m less hungry and eat a bit less. Night nurse capsules (the liquid is full of sugar) and plenty of fluids are working so far.
