It may be the dawn phenomenon. Can't get mine below 7 most days. Low carb 20-30g. I also fast daily until 11 am.
I got cgm recently at 4-4.30 am, BG just start creeping up itself for no apparent reason.
Have an appointment with my endocrinologist on the 29th of June, to check if I should be worried OR if all is ok as long as HBA1c is decent!

Been away for a week on holiday. Yesterday my blood sugar had crept up to 6.4 after a carb fest for the last 2 days. Down to 5.7 this morning after a poor nights sleep.
