My morning number was 8.5 and rose steadily until I ate breakfast at which time it was 9.7. That is without food for 12 hours. I have sunrise syndrome and a snack usually keep morning readings low but I am 78 and can’t stay up until 11 for a snack. I a feeling very anxious and don’t know how to move forward.
It's been fluctuating between 5 and 6 for the past three weeks, apart from a weird and aberrant 7.4 a couple of days ago, but this is the first time I've ever logged it below 5.0. I've shed more than 10% of my bodyweight this year, and it feels like I'm finally getting somewhere.
