I wish it was. A bit late now. I did start the day with a lie-in this morning since it's Sunday but it didn't improve the weather though :wink:

Me? The same as always. Porridge with skimmed milk and a tiny bit of fruit sugar - yummy!

Brilliant, Didie! You must be pleased with that.

5.0 at 08:00 today. Then 5.3 at 09:30 (still fasting) in the surgery just before the nurse took blood for my tests. Results back Thursday, I hope.

Starting my 6th week today with VLCD taking non of my DB Meds Off to GP now for the Scales will update on any tonnage loss from last week
6lb lost This week must have been some of that hospital from last week 8) 8) :lol: :lol:

5.6 fasting.

HbA1c this morning. I'll not get the result until 4 October. I really hope I've done enough to avoid medication. I've lost almost 1.75 stone since my stroke in June and am walking at least 3 miles every day so I'm feeling quite hopeful.

4.8 Fasting and 7.0 after 2 hours.

Breakfast was one slice of Multigrain bread. I seem very sensitive in the mornings, so 20g of carbs is about the most I can take

Used my Contour meter (whole blood) this morning instead of my Freestyle Lite (plasma) and got 5.8 at 07:00. Not too bad considering what I ate and drank yesterday - post-HbA1c treat! :oops:

Found my Freestyle Lite meter again, and was 5.2 at 08:00 today. I'm upping my carbs a bit with a view to doing a home GTT next Monday.
