5.6 this morning after a bed time of 5.6 too
Highest I went yesterday was 6.8 after my dinner and easter treat of 6 dark posh truffles so I didn't do too bad at all

5.2 first BS over 5 in over a week but still amazing when J think about a few weeks ago when 12 was a good day, and I did have some Easter egg yesterday! :naughty:

5.8 on this GORGEOUS SUNNY morning.... but if you knew how reckless I have been relatively speaking I am ok with that.. Hope you are all well and still see that the flags are still flying.

Thank you for your post, it gives me hope that I can one day reach my dream of being a runner I will have a look at the websites mentioned and plan accordingly. Do you have special running shoes? I have a pair of normal trainers which will do for the walking stage.

I have kept this post to encourge me, plus remind me as sometimes fibromyalgia fog kicks in and I don't remember anything! Sometimes even my name which is embarrassing!

I would suggest taking it in stages. Get comfortable with the walking first then move up to the couch to 5K.

Before you start the C25K - if that's what you choose to do - get a gait analysis performed at a specialist running shop - it should be free and inform your running shoe choice. Getting the right running shoes for you is paramount for your running and specific to how you run.

You may also wish to check out the running bug website.

Right there with you on the fibro fog :(

I really don't want to post today. I did well yesterday, even with a lunch out and a random hot cross bun. Then, in the evening my neighbour called. Her husband had just gone into hospital and I knew she needed company. I went over for a cup of tea and ended up sampling her granddaughters Easter candy. It wasn't even that tasty. So today, 6.7. Well deserved but hopefully the last fasting six.

Oh dear - I wish I was at 6.5 - fasting's up to 7.4 this morning...

Stayed the same at 7.4 after breakfast. Was completely out for the count rest of morning, and woke up feeling much better around 1.30, with BG down to 6.6. Then up again before late lunch to 7.3 and down to 6.2 after.:wideyed::wideyed: Had a similar big dip about a week ago from 6.7 before meal to 5.9 after - I sometimes think I'm going backwards!!

What don't you like about a cooked breakfast? Is it the cooking of it, that it's hot or what's actually in it?
