7.9 this morning - starting to get freaked out by this as yesterday was a disciplined day food-wise. 8.2 after 6.5 before last night's supper, which was my only meal of the day.

Morning all

Weekend away but back in the game with 6.3.

Looks like you've all gone a little mad for lidl bread. Did you leave any for the rest of us?

As you're finding, there's a bit more to it than just 'motivation'. ;)

I would suggest that only having one meal a day may well be a factor; spreading your food more evenly over the hours is likely to result in a more stable BG levels. Longer periods without food may cause rises in your BG (it certainly does for me) as your liver puts out more glucose to fuel your body when it hasn't eaten and eating only 'supper' at a time of day when you're less active means it is either floating around in your bloodstream or getting stored rather than being used.

I'm following an expert diabetes specialist (and medical doctor) whose advice is to encapsulate meals into a six hour period. No offence intended but I am highly motivated to reverse the condition rather than follow the tired old advice that sees some T2s ending up on insulin. Things are not going too well at the moment but I blame myself for that, not anyone else.

I seem to have forgotten to post this morning.
At 7a.m it was ... I think I was 5.6 but not sure now.
I see some of you guys are in the threes!
I'd be feeling pretty spaced out with those king of lows.
If I go below 4 it's time for a jelly baby!
