I'm off to sleep. I'm planning on my small walk tomorrow but with good pain killers. :)

Well I'm up again!
This time my heart scan booked for sunday afternoon is playing on my m7nd and woke in pain. So I've taken codeine but now I'm strugglin to keep my eyes open and nauseous. Taken on an empty tum. Tut tut.
I'll try bed again. Washing machine can wait til dawn.

Here I am again. Filling in the time so I can nod off without a worry.
3yr old has woken as 9yr old has took liberties with his playstation and woke little man up. Both sent back to bed.
I'm in with 3yr old to get him back off to sleep.

I wonder if my world is changed in light of their investigation tomorrow or if I can continue taking for granted my happy little set up which I've wanted for decades. I've worked so hard for what I've got and ill health threatens to interfer with it.
I'm thinking positively. Maybe they'll say "wow you have the cleanest arteries I've seen in a diabetic, especially one who suspects to have had it 40yrs".And "we cannot see anything to worry about, your discharged". "Your symptom are nothing to worry about, continue with pain killers and diuretic". " No heart disease...next!" :) :) :)

Anyone about tonight?
 
Well I'm here again.

I go from exhaustion to not being able to sleep.
I might ask my endocrologist to check my thyroid for misfiring. Ha ha I'm diagnosed as having underactive thyroid but maybe its working sometimes and not others. Just have to wait til 15th feb thou.
Unless I contact dn in new year for a chat. As she doesn't know about possible heart failure investigations? She normally relays my concerns to specialist first so he can get heads up to help me better.
I'm off to take some painkillers.
Anyone around for a chat?

Are you excited for Sunday hun or are you a new years eve party animal more?
Once I get last minute things in today and tomorrow I'll be able to relax. We are planning another meal out on friday but just my 3 and me. My nephew maybe about, not sure. I need to text him. I like to include him as his mum broke his heart early this year by throwing him out for saying what he thought of her new husband. He just said what we all think, bless him.
Any plans?
Hows Ron? Twitchy feet/legs on sofa for you to get some sleep? Its never easy is it?

Christmas Eve glass of whiskey in one hand mince pie in other. Christmas day can come and go this year not interested. Same every year.

New Years Eve marks one year when the diabetes was picked up at the opticians although it took till February to be diagnosed.

Up and not ready for sleep again. I had no daytime sleep. I'm going to wait til I need to nod off again. I'm tired but not ready for sleep. I think I'm worried about my friend @Liam1955 .
 
Hello fellow insomniacs. My internet keeps crapping out, I need to go and reset my router, but it's downstairs and it's dark and scary down there..:nailbiting:

Santa has been! 9yr old woke when he heard me busy preparing the gifts. I got done just in time.
Bg is high and I have indigestion from the 2 egg and salad cream bread rolls at 8pm. Well indigestion from metformin. Or both.
3yr old received gifts from family yesterday and his brother bought him a huge extra soft teddy bear. He's asleep with it on him. Oh soooooo cute! He's named him.
Well I'm off back to bed. Taken insulin and a bit of toast so I should be fine for some hours. Hoping 3yr old doesn't wake early as....I need my beauty sleep! lol

Ps. Trollhunters isn't bad on netflix.
 
slept well for the past week so am thinking maybe some sleepless nights to come ...still unsure why I have them grrrr
