Weekly weigh in - Fridays

Almost certainly a trip to the bathroom would have tipped the balance
- it's often been my saviour when doing diet clubs like WW & SW in the past! Stay positive - to do any level of maintenance over a longer period is always something to be proud of. Well done!

Weight at diagnosis on 5.4.17 - 115.3 kg BMI 39.8
Weight today 65.2 kg BMI 22.5
Total weight Lost 50.1kg

Not trying to lose any more - have been maintaining below my goal weight of 68kg since November 2017 - but hanging out on this thread as I keep trying to get the balance right

0.1kg down - essentially the same as last week

That's brilliant Polgara, very inspiring! Keep up the good work!

Good morning all, some fantastic results from everyone today, well done everyone!

My progress remains steady - I've now completed 40 days of the blood sugar diet & remain very happy with everything to do with it - enjoying the food, enjoying more stable emotions (although I did have a very moody day on Tuesday, when I realised how much weight I still have to lose - I usually focus on the positives but the long game is so hard sometimes)

So my stats so far:
Start weight, 7/1/18: 114.2 kg
Weight last Friday: 103 kg
Weight today: 101 kg
Weight loss this week : 2 kg
Total weight loss: 13.2 kg

Let's see what the next week brings! Good luck all

Just a tiny loss of 0.1kg this week but still not able to walk well
Started 115kg 9th May’17
Today 82.7kg 16th Feb’18
Total lost = 32.3kg/5stone 1lb

You must be very proud of your weight loss and hard work. Is the walking issue temporary?

Thank you for your kind words. Yes the walking issue is temporary, I had an operation on my foot in December, it’s a long recovery process.

My husband has to wear support stockings long term due to swelling. He has been measured by his practice nurse and prescribed ones which fit. Not amazing but ill fitting ones can be painful to wear. Good luck

Stay around @Polgara. We need your expertise. I hope we can help you in return.?
I've maintained since Wednesday but it's a fine line.
I'm hoping to lose by next by friday. On period no so we'll see for me.
Metformin makes all the difference for me.
Everyone knows it and sees it's affects when im able to take it. It makes a difference of approx. 2st added or lost for me.
I wish there was an implanting then it could concentrate on just treating any loose tum that comes my way.
Its great to see your posts!!

Don’t know if it counts but lost a pound this week I had to do an emergency dash in last few days to help my very poorly 87 year old mum so ate less - mainly keeping going on nuts and cream in coffee when could get it. Now back home and mum improving. Sure will put it back on when go back to normal eating again buy hey it’s Friday! Will have to start planning I think for these emergency additional trips - I go every 3/4 weeks and can plan then but she is diabetic with poor kidney function so no doubt may be doing it more. Next planned trip next week but will zip up there before - a mere 120 miles away - if I’m worried about her.
