Weekly weigh in - Fridays

Hi all. Up 0.5kg this week. Not a great surprise given amount eaten.
 
Forgot to weigh-in this morning as toaster broke so told kids that I'd toast them on stove. It took forever. Never again. It has set my back pain again.
Sooo will weigh-in tomorrow. Sorry guys.

Well done to all who are making the effort to lose. I wish continued success.
 
Weighed myself this morning and my scales flickered inbetween 135.90 and 136.00kgs.
So I've lost again. Less than a kg thou. Going in the right direction thou.
 
I thought I'd weigh myself mid-week to see how I'm doing.
I weighed 135.30kgs so a 0.70kg loss since I weighed myself 2 days ago.
At Dr's this morning for a blood test and GP's metformin change of med. Mind u I'm now having second thoughts with this kind of loss.
I'll have a shower and make a discision but if I get it wrong surgeon won't listen to excuses. I think I'll talk it over with gp for his opinion. Dn said specialist would agree a change if it's any help to my weight loss efforts but he's not available til next week. But I'm to call for an appointment via his secretary. Will do after GPs decision today.

I'm delighted I'm losing again. My body is so temperamental at mo because of metformin hospital may encourage to go without it but weight gain? Probables and not the right time for it to be awkward. It's really let me down but in its defence I'm most likely going through the change. So no cycle to rely on hormonally either.

I can see you're all making a big effort to lose or maintain.
I wish you all continued strength and encouragement to get to your ideal weight.

I know from experience diabetes is hugely more manageable when less weight to carry. Well fat. Muscular people are great at burning fat through their muscles. It's only if something happens to prevent the usage of them does things go wiry and things get very very tough.

Morening fellow scale crushers.
Today I have the sad news of reporting an increase of 1lb to 14st 9lb.
I can make plenty of excuses but I won't, I ate it, so their.

Morning all. Finally a breakthrough. Lost 1.7kgs this week, taking me to my lowest recorded weight of 57.8 kgs. So just 0.1kg below my previous low at the start of June, but progress!
 
Good Morening Fellow Scale Crushers

This morning I can successfully report I crushed the scales with a +3 lb now 14st 10lb, no complaints from me I was away for a long weekend being wined and dined, with a lack of exercise and continuing in the same manner when I got home.

Task for today repair crushed scales.

Good morning all. 15 stone 1 ( 83kg ). No change for me. Again stuck to the exercise but not the diet. Doing 2 meals for August and no snacking. We will see how that goes. Have a great week.
 
0.2 kg off this week, just 200g off 6 stone total loss! Maybe next Friday!

Hi thought i would join in. Was 75 kilo's 5 months ago am now 58 kilo's. Have been that now for quite some time. I really don't need to lose more but rather maintain it. So more wrinkles, but better that then lose of feet and blindness and so on.
 
Scales on the blink again. I need a new pair. Will weigh myself in boots tomorrow! At GP practice next week for a weigh in too. Luckily.
 
I think I'll join as weight loss (along with lower blood sugar) is one of my goals. I'm watching both carbs & calories and exercising (cardio & weights) regularly. I started off on Jul 4th at 273.59 lbs.

My weight loss (including today) has been:
July 4 : 273.59 lb
July 10: 269.63 lb
July 17: 265.49 lb
July 24: 263.01 lb
July 31: 260.36 lb
Aug 7: 257.8 lb

Total loss so far: 15.79 lbs

I started off discreetly using my doctor's scales. Today the office manager gave me (and the staff who let me use the scale) a hard time (even though my doctor told me to use weight.) He said that they could be in trouble with the province for not reporting it (!) and it was unauthorized use of medical equipment! I've never had this issue with any previous doctor's office.

So I went out and bought my own digital scale and checked it (2 lbs heavier than the doctor's scale.)
