Weekly weigh in - Fridays

Good afternoon. 13 exactly (82.5 kg ) 1 lb loss.
Was going great until Wednesday, then a brain fart, with chocolate, fruit and porridge ( never thought I would miss porridge) . Anyway back on track. Well done to all, especially those going in the right direction. Have a good week.

Friday I crept into the lair of those evil lying cheating scales, thinking I'd catch them by surprise, they played a sneaky game pretending to be caught out then displayed 15st 0lb, I swear I heard them giggling and as I walked glumly out of the bathroom I thought I heard a voice saying " got you "
I swear I'm going to give them a mashing wif my crowbar.

For sale I set of evil lying cheating scales, if I don't kill them first.

What normally works for you?
Nothing works ,I can only eat a small amount of carbs or my BGs go sky high and there is only a certain amount of food that I can eat in a day !!!

I ddont measure protein but I eat protein with all meals and eat plenty of good fat ,snack on nuts and cheese I don't exercise in a regular way but walk a lot and keep very busy

You may be burning fat so losing rather than adding. Best way to know is to get a ketones blood meter tester and a few strips.
Once mine is old (to me) I'll pass it your way.
I got meter for free due to insulin taking. 3 free strips only so I need to buy some before hospital admission. They are expensive. I'll help when I can.
In the mean while I'll later pull out info from my supplier and Pm you their details incase you want to buy one.
Unless some lovely person reads this and helps you sooner? A rep would be the ideal person.

When you did low fat did you add weight?

Wish I hadn't. Many are thoroughly regretting it.
I was brought up low fat but carby treats. Large heavy meals. Very little salad or veg and unlimited bread. Low fat substitutes of everything and anything. Fruit galore.

Past few weeks I've been living off veg and 200cal milkshakes. With occasional beef or lamb once a week. I'm losing again at last.
My body is used to low carb and low fat so now I'm watching my protein intake too.
Bariatric op will give breath to eat tiny portions without hunger. I've had to eat loads of carrots or similiar to fill me up.

Starting weight: July 5 : 273.59 lb (124.09 kg) BM! - 48.0
Current Weight: Oct 23 : 220.6 lb (100.06 kg) BMI - 37.9
I'm looking forward to be under 100 kg soon.

My total weight loss is: 52.99 lbs (24.04 kg - 3 stone 10.66)
What a Wonderful loss for the week and overall!

Starting weight: July 5 : 273.59 lb (124.09 kg) BM! - 48.0
Current Weight: Oct 23 : 220.6 lb (100.06 kg) BMI - 37.9
I'm looking forward to be under 100 kg soon.

My total weight loss is: 52.99 lbs (24.04 kg - 3 stone 10.66)

Another 2 pound gone, so 2 stone 9 in total now. The 3 stone feels in sight and am doubly determined to get it as then I’ll be the same weight as my hubby - which hasn’t been the case in the 10yrs we’ve been together. Even commandeered one of his hoodies as it actually fits. I’ll take being a men’s medium any day :joyful:

Wait til your smaller than him. Baggy mens clothes used to be all the fashion.
