Weekly weigh in - Fridays

87.4kg slightly late checking as been away. Increase of 200g

Holiday Walking didn’t offset the increase in carbs from being a little naughty on holiday. But it’s less of a blip than I thought, so all good

85.3 which is further 1.6kg, I think the higher carb week almost kick started it again (which is probably not the case and far from a recommendation)

a nice 88.7 this a.m. and 88.o after a hard day at work...13 stone and 12 pounds ...joint equal to 18 weeks ago and the lower one the lowest ive been since about 1998.....

102.3. My goal was 100 before my last appointment, didn’t quite get there. I think my body composition is changing in favor of more muscle mass, I’ve lost my super human ability to float around in the pool, now I actually have to swim to keep my head above water

Do you monitor you body composition?

I have low-ish body fat and low visceral fat, but I can still float effortlessly. From your posts, I don't doubt your body composition could be changing.

Not quite sure how. I just noticed the pool thing. I do know that I’ve added muscle since I’ve been training super hard. It certainly would be interesting to track

No change at 102, my waist is definitely shrinking though, my three month old sponge bob tropical shorts are getting too big. What do you all think about these as a replacement?

84.3kg, another kg down.
20.7 kg since I started at lockdown
25.7 kg from my heaviest

Wish I’d done this years ago. But not sure when I will decide to stop. Though 71kg seems a good central BMI level I am not sure I’ll go that far but we shall see come Christmas!

55.9 happy with that.
@LaoDan the new shorts might at least save you the embarrassment of the old ones falling down, but I’m sure you will still get plenty of amused second glances.

FBG 5.8 So big improvement there
But
Weight going down again.
49.7kg today.
Has been stable at 50.2kg for three weeks.
However was not happy with FBG rising steadily.
Made an effort to improve that and once again losing weight.
Somewhere there must be a balance.
Welcome to new posters
Congrats to all going in the right direction.

I’ve found the same, it seems I can only maintain good BGs if Im losing weight. I’m happy with my weight where it is and want to maintain, but like you, I’ve had rising BGs. If you find that elusive balance please share!
