Do you test your BG @JenniferM55? I know if my BG is higher than normal it’s almost impossible to lose weight. Don’t forget fasting can put your body into stress mode and your body might think it has to store energy (ie glucose) because it thinks lean times are ahead. Have you tried muscle toning exercises? It doesn’t have to be intense but I’ve heard this can improve weight loss.
Just look back to how well you’ve done and a huge accomplishment
Yes I do test, 1st thing in the morning and last at night, and during the day if I'm not sure of the food. I did swerve a bit while doing some 'experimenting' with sour dough, but I soon put a stop to that. I also log every morsel into Cronometer, most of the time I'm under 20g carbs, but never above 30g - errors accepted ;) .

There are areas where I can improve, like cutting back on dairy, I know I indulge. Thinking I should be doing more exercises, I know my dog would approve.

81.5kg, .5 off being a healthy BMI...So close :( 0.7 off this week:happy:. a total of 247 Cadbury's boost bars...Mmmmm Cadbury's. Good luck to all this week. December is running at us!
Brilliant, give yourself a huge pat on the back. Well done.

Lost this week, could this be the end of my stall? 0.35kg GONE! I'm now in the 'realms of weight' were I've not visited in decades.

But how many chunky KtiKats...? Well done in almost reaching your goal.

Myself, I'm down just under a pound. I think my body's trying to fatten me to prepare it for hibernation!

Good morning everyone!

@callyandy how great to be so close to a healthy BMI and well done on losing all those Cadbury Boost bars!

Well done on ending that stall @JenniferM55 and congratulations on being in the lowest weight range for decades, that must feel so good.

Sometimes I think I would like to hibernate for several months and wake up a lot slimmer, @IanBish - but I think I would lose my job. Nearly a 1lb is still a loss in the right direction.

Wow @bolingbroke 4lbs this week - that is so good and a total of 6stone lost is amazing. You are an inspiration!

@filly - nearly a pound off for you too, it is still a move in the right direction and you are persevering with it no matter what. That is inspiration too.

I lost 2lb this week, again I have worked hard for the loss. I do my brisk walk for an hour every day and a couple of days a week, I do an hour and a half now. Hoping to do a good walk tomorrow, the weather forecast looks nice.

Down 2.4lbs to 16st 12.8.lbs. My target is to lose 1 lb a week over a year. Currently 18lbs down in last 17 weeks.
Congratulations to being in the 16stone range @JimPartie - that is really good and your target is a very healthy one and you have done so well over the past 17 weeks - 18lbs down is fabulous!

First, my maths was wrong (too early in the morning) 346 boost bars - muppet. That's 425 Chunky KitKats ;) . Well done this week, a pound is a pound is a pound...

Being told “Oh go on, one won’t hurt you!”.
Conversely, the food police.
@callyandy I love your chocolate related weight loss analogies!

I lost .4 kgs which I think is just short of a pound? Given my disastrous BG readings this past week, I am not disappointed. Every Chunky Kitkat or Boost bar lost is one less to lose over time.

A pound is great, so well done - and yes, it does seem that the blood sugar levels have something to do with stubborn weight. You are so right, every delicious chocolate bar is one less off the body, never to return!

Me too - but I don't think work would appreciate it.

But here's hoping for a bigger loss this week. 2 lbs would be nice. C'mon body, stop slouching!

Good job, @callyandy. That's awesome!

Me, I lost two pounds this week. This was despite me having three slices of pizza (I'd only planned on having one) plus a sickly sweet cookie-type thing at the office "Christmas" do yesterday. I didn't take my blood sugars, I just drew a line under it, and won't do it again.

Just two to three pounds away from 16½ stone. Half stones are now my new milestones.
