Weekly weigh in - Fridays

I had no loss or gain this week. I feel thinner though! Lol. Does that count?

Well, I had a doctor’s appointment and was glad it showed my total loss….the lowest in my chart to date. Yaay.

I’ll keep to my food and exercise plans. I’ll get there.

Congrats to everyone for their focus and devotion. The scales aren’t always indicative of our hard work. They’ll catch up. If not, another visit with my nutritionist may be in order. Lol.

@TheSecretCarbAddict - thank you for your kind comment last week, how have you done this week?

@Prancy - that is funny about feeling slimmer, but it not showing on the scales, that happens to me sometimes too. Well done on the lowest weight on your chart at the doctor's that is great! I hope this week is just as good for you.

Oh no, @filly - I am sorry about that, some weeks just don't go to plan. I hope you have a better week going ahead.

.4kg isn't much, @Art Of Flowers and so many things can cause such a blip, so don't worry about it and keep on keeping on.

--------------------

I have lost a pound this week, which is great and I am coming to terms with the fact that after 13 months of this diet, that this is my new way of life now if I am to stay healthy. It is worth it as I feel so much better in so many ways.

For those who haven’t had the results they want this week, don’t dismay. Eating right is always right and nutritious food your friend. It will make a difference.

I was surprised I am down 1 more pound this week! Now to keep stable until more loss. I’m trying to find someone to measure my muscle mass.

Everybody, please get your B12 checked. I had deficiency last year, thought it was treated successfully, but it wasn’t. It predates my weight loss journey. Now on mega doses. It can do serious damage. Please check in to it. Chrck the level before you start taking it. Most doctors aren’t aware how serious this is for people who don’t process it.

I hope you all have a great weekend and Happy Father’s Day!

Well done Prancy - and that is great advice about the B12, I remember being low on it a few years ago and I felt quite unwell at that time.

It will be interesting to see if you have gained muscle, I would think if you have increased your exercise, then you should have done.

Happy Father's Day on Sunday to you too!

I wish I was gaining muscle, but my limbs look small. I stll have some fat and skin, but not what I want. My arms are particularly thin….idk. I have to pick up the strength training. Now that I’m getting the right B12, I hope it improves. Hope it’s not too late.

This week's average is 84.3kg (last week's 83.6kg, a difference of +0.9kg).

Today's weigh-in was 84.6kg (last Friday's 82.6 kg., +2kg). Current target 80kg. 4.6kg to go from today.

It's been a really challenging week. Lost all control of my food addictions and not quite sure yet if I'm back on track in terms of my recovery. On my third attempt this week to reset, and finally, I have lasted more than a day. The only positive is that most of the weight gain right now is most likely water weight and should shift in the right direction once I'm back on my low carb approach.

Forgot to post on Friday - I'm up 3lbs from last Friday, so regained what I had lost, but weekly average is down 1lb so I'm taking some comfort from that!

@TheSecretCarbAddict I've also been off the rails and struggling to get back on. For me not going into denial, posting here and working on it is a win. Here's to a better week!
