Weekly weigh in - Fridays

Started on lower carbs on Monday and I've lost 2lbs this week. My weight is currently 14st 9. Still need to reduce my carbs more but I'm still working out what works best for me.

I'm keen for friday to come but may be disappointed as water retention is still very obvious.
I'll book to see gp next week but an afternoon appointment as its more obvious then.
Fingers crossed I get a loss.
Same 133.20kg. No loss :( Need to do strict lchf now with emphasis to potasium and magnesium. Low salt too. Multivitamins an aid too.
By march I want to be on a lot less insulin and good liver blocking in lchf. I want my calcium score to below 10 too.
2017 is my body's sorting out for good year!

Good morning 152 today which is a rise of 1.6 lbs. I can only put it down to no exercise as full of streaming cold this week. :(

Inflammation from your cold hun. Next week should be a good loss week for you. Get well soon. :)

You go girl!!:joyful:

I now seem to have stabilized at 2-3 kilos below my previous nearly-3-years-static-at-95-kilos weight. But my GP's happy and no longer nags at me to lose weight, and at our 6 monthly checkups still hasn't ceased to be gobsmacked at my original dramatic weight loss!:D:D

Holiday binge high 2 Jan 2017 after new years day celebration

2017 diet starting weight 94.5 kg 2nd January 2017
Friday weigh in
5th January 2017 92.6
12th January 2017 90.8

This weekend trying to get into a good level of ketosis - I'm away for the weekend for 3 days, I have no access to food other than what I bought - shopping - 6 eggs, 2 small packets bacon, 150 g small packet mushrooms and 250 g cherry tomatoes, 250g butter, 1 jar 100% coconut oil, 1 jar coffee, 250 ml cream i126 g raspberries and 60 g mixed nuts. Spread over two meals per day = 900 calories per day including 10g of the nuts per day. inc 20 g butter and 5g of the coconut oil per day. The balance for nuts being if my hunger pangs get too high! starting ketosis 0.1 . I will report back next week !

Nearly 4kg loss in less than 2 weeks is amazing. Well done.

Am outside on a mega walk (20km so far). Will report weight later this afternoon.

Well putting 3 kg on in 3 weeks was also fairly spectacular ! and most of that both ways is water weight , if I manage to get my ketones back up I hope to go back to the 1 kilo per week I was managing before - I got a ketone reading of 1.5 last night - so I'm well on the way and as happened last time I was properly ketotic my dawn phenonema went right down rising to only 7.8 and less than an hour ( compared to well over 8/9 and 4 hours outside ketosis) and my weight dropped easily ! ( fingers crossed )

I didn't weigh last Friday as I am in Thailand, but I found some scales outside a 7/11 store so I weighed myself.
The result was 66.4 kgs which is 146 lbs. It's the same as two weeks ago. I don't know how accurate the scales are though.

I guess for the loss to be so quick it must be water, inless you are running 4 marathons a day?

Oh at least 2kg this time is water - I'm not kidding myself on that !. I am walking 10-15,000 steps per day if I can. I can't run to save my life, its all I can do to stay upright whilst walking ( see dislocated shoulder post :) )

dear Ickihun I feel so strongly with you, and all the conditions you are fighting with, the last weeks I have been studying a lot of the vitamin K2 , that in contrary to vitamin K1 seems to be the main vitamin to get the calcium into the bones and out of the blood vessels and soft tissue where it has nothing to do like also not inside the cell-kernel , this is some knowledge I have heard told by more people and lectures on the YouTube
I´ll put a few links here, hope you other people will not be offended by that, only in this respons, not to start a discussion here in anyway, but I am no expert and it will be responsible to talk to ones GP before taking vitamin K(type 1 and 2) , especially if one is on a blood thinner or have already had the tendency to get blood cloths.. but then again it is so difficult to know what is empthy claims produced by fantasy-filled doctors ... http://www.quackwatch.org/11Ind/mercola.html
