Weekly weigh in - Fridays

wow oh wow. 80.9. There must be a built in weight delay and I am sure to go up next week. Food wise this week has been less naughty than I thought. Just wait until the medieval banquet tonight. Long story short Saturday fiasco. gridlock, Hot rods opening gala - ahem; trapped in museum = late for restaurant. gridlock, give up - Ikea salad bar! Class hey but very tasty.
Birthday cake = Aldi new york cheesecake. One modest slice and not my fault I ate the crunble base. It was in me befoere I realised.
Cosmo fantastic. I am forgetting to consider anything in the sauces so much choice in carvery , curry and veg dishes. I had one teaspoon creme sans brulee. Pure pleasure. But I was starving all the next day.
Wednesday see dn. Hbaic 44! Joy. Statins lecture. Doseage dropped from 140mg pw to 30mg pw. Nice to know the doseage is sooo very flexible and she gave her blessing on the shopping list for the dietdoctor 2 week challenge which we start tomorrow. We had the Tex Mex Wednesday and Thursday. Very yum.

Hubby decided to use the diet doctor list -in Lidl -on his own. He could not find the eggs never mind chipotle paste ( I do not know what that is myself). Poor DH is still in a state of nervous shock. Got me 4 protein rolls though.

Chipotle paste is smoked roasted chipotle peppers, mashed and sieved.
 
Why am I not loosing weight? I am on !000 mg of Metformin twice a day. Goes to the Gym 3-4 days a week. Do Cardio, body weight excises and pilates for about 1hour per day.
Hi @swarnag I believe you have only recently begun to address your bs and weight again. I put on weight in December, and took action to reduce it again in January. It did take a couple of weeks before I started to lose weight again. Stick with it and you should start start seeing results.

It sounds tasty. I understand we can buy it in the big supermarkets so I will look for it during the week. We can avoid shopping until Wednesday. We are going for a walk and perhaps a little violent gardening today. Started the dietdoctor with pork and onions for dinner yesterday and today. This wil be followed by 2 days of chicken, feta and olives. We are rebelling against 3 meals of the dimensions recommended and lunching on maglil55's breakfast muffins rechristened here as mushroom tarts. Normal breakfasts which for me is 2 egg omelette. I think this keeps the metabolism out of fasting panic starvation mode and the carb limit below wharever target is right for me. I must get round to measuring and weighing some time.

I am sure your weight loss will kick in real soon. I only started dieting in September and I lost loads in the first few weeks. It seems to have been very slow after that but we only got some scales at Xmas. It shows kgs which makes the downward tick seem far more exciting than it really is. The dn scales are in stones and showed me heavier than my straight out of bed weight.

Recently we went to a dietic talk at the cancer support group (hubby not me) and she said (I really do not know what i am talking about so just throwing data in the air for consideration/debate) that olive and coconut oil should not be heated as they break down. It was a fortnight after the negative coconut oil stories broke. Olive oil is great cold but should never be heated above 40 deg as it creates toxins and free radicals (cargengenic). For cooking she recommended cold pressed rapeseed oil. Coconut oil is great for external skin moisturising (talk was cancer focused). We think medical advice for diabetes is complicated - try avoiding carcingenic. Also debate the true value of "cold pressed" just a marketing sales pitch?..sigh.

I am a little bit worried about what may happen at my end of the pipe I have heard of liposuction but lipoblowtion???!!!

180 lbs or 12 stones and 12 pounds. A small loss from last week and back to where I was 3 weeks ago. May be diet related as I have been trying but more likely weather related-we have had a few warm days and I have been out side gardening a little. Let's see if I can go below the magical 180 lbs this week. I would be happy just to stay at this weight a few weeks but will continue trying to lose a little. I have had problems reaching the forum and so am posting a day early for me (I usually weigh and post on Tuesday) as I finally got on today. Happy eating and good job all!

I just wanted to share this morning although I don't usually weigh in until Friday or Saturday . I weighed in this morning at 145lbs which means since I restarted LCHF in October I have lost 29 lbs! I was delighted to have tipped into the 2 stone lost band! :)
 
@mo53 - You are a Winner Mo that is a fantastic result - you must be so pleased with yourself, 2 stone lost in 4 - 5 months:happy:. My "goal" is just to loose that 1 stone that keeps hounding me, any more I loose is an added bonus.
 
@Liam1955 thank you , you are a great encourager. My next milestone is only 3lbs away. 10st 2 was my weight 9years ago! :)

You will do it Mo. And I think you will be pleasantly surprised with your next HBA1C result too with losing the weight. You are focused and determined to get to your goal, so you will.:)
Of course everyone else is focused on here and I praise you all for shedding weight.:).
Mine just does not want to part with my body :D.

Hooray for you!! We all like those big numbers and saying 2 stone out loud is a great achievement. Well done honey:joyful:

Your FBG number are so good recently, I'm sure the weight will follow.:)
