Weekly weigh in - Fridays

55.1kg today so I seem to have lost weight but fbg has gone back up to 6s again. Such a puzzle.
@OzBlossom you’re doing really well. I need a kick up the bum to stick to exercise too!
im nearly allways in the sixes nowadays returning to mid fives by evening
my weight this morning is a straighr 89 kilos..
better than september three years ago when im sure i tipped the scales at 127 kilos
definitly earlier that year the doctor weighed me at 124 kgs..

No change this week. Better than putting it on though I s’pose. Better than random mystery weight loss again too. Getting used to eating three times a day. Blood sugar is coming down (as the insulin goes up!) so that’s good.
Very impressed with all the exercise going on around here. I’m moving more each day but I hurt all over so it’s slower than I’d like. Cardiac Rehab keep reminding me that heart attacks are serious and that I should give myself a break, but all I can see is my back to work date in front of me and I wonder how I’m going to do it.

Brilliant weight loss Diawara. Did you used to have fbgs in 5s? Mine were but I’ve been struggling to get them back there for months now.

10st 6
Finally broke through the 10 and a half. Been a long time coming

Same weight, same amount of insulin as metformin causing a quick response but not the one I've had before children.
I will persevere. As I can lose 2st when it works.
Bgs not as perfect as I'd like either.
Maintenance is due to amount of insulin unchanged, no more.
Seeing bariatric specialist soon.

Once metformin works I'll reduce insulin again.
Once I lose 2st more I may be insulin free but not sure. I'd like to have another C-peptide to see if I'm making more or less of my own insulin, in comparison to last years test. If it's less I'll keep basal insulin, at least.

End of Week 8 of 12 on <800 cal and 20g net carb (a few blips, but fairly minor and even the blips were keto-consistent)

minus 1.2kg this week and a bit more body fat,
so now 8.3kg down and minus 5.5% body fat as running totals.

Heaps to go, but I think I can see some difference and definitely can feel it PLUS even better, more of those FBGs seem to be showing up in the 5s and low 6s.

Today I am 81.6kg (I was 81.1 yesterday which shows just how much you can fluctuate!)
but going down bit by bit, and less than a week ag

I am using weightgrapher to watch the trend and it makes me feel better when it fluctuates

88.4 kgs this morning 5.7 on the meter 5.0 before last evenings meal.. and annual diabetes check this morning

On no ! 45.6 I have lost 2 bits of a K If anyone finds them please could you send them back :arghh:

I weighed 96.4kgs at review with weight loss NHS team.
I'm losing my usual 1-2lb again. I'm walking as much as I can. Painkillers permitting. Still no swimming/stretches in water. Unless pools are warmer I won't return to them. If anything they'll make them cooler to stop bacteria germinating more. So no use to me.
I'm hugely more confident in being able to lose weight if I want/need to lose more.
The more ways the better. I feel.
Ps. Still waiting for metformin to help with weight loss. I'll persever.
Thinking of using buscopan only when a huge flair up as taking 1 twice a day but inbetween it can get bad. I've had to bring evening one forward. Then wake with stomach pain, which is relieve after ablutions etc.
I'm confident once pain is pinpointed and relieved well I may lose more. I'll be more focused.

Good morning my weight today is 10st 12lbs so I need to lose at least a stone and a half. We used to swim 4 or 5 times a week before lockdown but haven't restarted . Fortunately we had wii fit and balance board in the loft so we have been using that for daily exercise. Everybody here seems to be doing very well.

I put on 3lb this week!!!!? No idea why I haven’t changed what I’ve eaten over the last three weeks and I’m more active . Not fair!
On the plus side my sugar levels are MUCH better so it looks like the insulin is finally winning.
I’ve downloaded MyFitnessPal to see where I can lose calories . All suggestions welcome!!

Same issue as @carty. Have lost another bit of a kilo. I need this one and the others back.
We are packing to go back to UK tomorrow.
Don't be thinking that you can find my lost bits of K in The UK cos I have looked everywhere :banghead:
