What are you doing now and humorous banter.

Well been shopping with hubby today had a coffee with him as he is my best friend smiles.... mams been to and sorted dogs walked and now time for dinner

I'm sitting here wondering what to do with myself. Hubby in bed as dog been naughty again. It's like having a toddler who wants to play at 3 am.

Dont have many plans today - walk the dog, pick up a box of chocolates because I've sort of missed someone. And take stepson to the train station.

Not much planned over the weekend either. Might go and watch people Christmas shopping in the retail centre being smug knowing mine is done and wrapped and some even given out.

Boring zzzzzz

I'm doing online exam marking for Cambridge but need a break from the unreality of it all.
When's Santa coming?

When my kids became doubtful about the existence of Santa, I strung them along for a couple of years by showing them the NORAD site

Morening all
Just nipped out of my sojourn reality, by climbing over the fence, avoiding the spot light towers and making a break for it. Anyway it's all pointless because I have to break back in today.
Have a a good day folks, avoid the fictitious sales and complete the 10 000 press ups your Fitbit demands, just glad I don't have one.

My fitbit has been relegated to the shelf as it was waking me up too early and then reminding me every 15 minutes to move my butt. It also decided what time I had to go to bed. I decided the festive season meant I could relax so I let the charge drain down and it's now sleeping (maybe permanently hee hee)

So this thread has died sadly
@Cumberland ......is probably just sleeping......we could always resurrect it.....just seemed that people moved away to other threads rather than posting here.....is my preferred place to post as feel that I don’t necessarily belong on the others....:(

.....how was your day.....has been bright and sunny down here and went to Tuesday garden group.....:)....

I pop in every day but dont see any posts @Cumberland so feel stupid writing near enough the same thing every day.

Would be good to see people using it again
Hello @wolfie11969 .....I do the same.....
....hope you had a good Christmas and New Year.....:).....what plans do you have for tomorrow....

Just thinking.....it is now six months since I officially became Mrs Clive....doesn’t time fly when you are having fun....:joyful::happy:

Hello @wolfie11969 .....I do the same.....
....hope you had a good Christmas and New Year.....:).....what plans do you have for tomorrow....

I have a hospital appointment today. Not looking forward to it as I've had the headache from hell for over a week now. I've read up it can be linked to the menopause so suppose I need to get that checked out. I have been prescribed another medication by my consultant but I'm reluctant to take it as one of the common side effects are headaches. I guess I need to get this one sorted before I embark on what could potentially give me another set of headaches. Oh the joys.

On a plus note - Christmas was enjoyed by all and we had a relatively quiet end to the year.

And wow 6 months married - soon be your anniversary and then before you know it 5 years, 10 years etc. Are you going to give anniversary presents? Me and hubby tried for a few years to follow the 'list' of anniversary presents (both old and modern) but gave up after about year 4. Now we just buy each other a token gift costing around £10

Enjoy your day folks, I need to get moving

@wolfie11969 ...hope appointment goes well.....can sympathise with headache issue as had similar before Christmas and put it down to similar reason being of a similar age....was only mild headache but don’t usually suffer any so bad for me and irritating...decided to give up coffee for a while and seemed to clear it....

...not sure about anniversary gifts but will just mark occasion by spending day together and perhaps going out for lunch.....is also the third anniversary of when we first met on 18th January .....the day I sent that first private message which sparked it all off...:)..not sure if we should mark both but why not....

....hopefully others will be along to join in our chat....have missed hearing all the news ....

....guess the countdown is now on to your daughters wedding later in the year...do you have an outfit yet....

....off food shopping when Clive gets home from work in an hour or so....will catch up later :)
