I'm sure there's more.
Strange that porridge sends you high because it's my daily breakfast! I make it with coconut milk, then I lace it with ground ginger, cinnamon, three teaspoons of mixed flax seeds and chia seeds, a handful of pumpkin seeds, 7 or 8 raspberries and then double cream YUMMY. It doesn't affect me. Before eating my reading was 6.3 and after it was 7.1 this morning .... which is around average after breakfast each day
I can handle orridge too. With a spoonful of coconut oil.

Wow! I have “been experimenting” this week to see what spikes my sugars the most at Breakfast time. I had one slice of Weetabix today, with my usual ratio of QA and I was almost double my pre breakfast reading two hours later. It did come down before my lunch but this is a daily occurrence. On a daily basis I have been having “healthy cereals”- lesson learnt!

Saying this, I am in the middle of basal testing so may find that my morning basal dose is not enough... but its highly unlikely as thats my main spike of the day, post breakfast.
