What do you like to drink with no carbs/very minimal carbs?

I have drank diet pop/soda all my life and am trying to curb the habit but am finding it difficult to just drink water. A lot of the little flavor packets you can add to water make my mouth super dry, unfortunately. I wish I could just drink fruit juice all the time! I swear if I wasn’t diabetic it would probably be peach mango juice all the time, lol. Anyways, if you have a suggestion I’d love to hear it!

Spicy food which is too hot. Nasty people who have no idea on your life journey but feel the need to comment and be cruel.
I drink americano with a dash of Cream.
Mostly water the rest of the day.
Odd cup of tea.

Try adding natural flavourings to your water eg
Salt (just a tiny pinch)
Lemon
Mint leaves
Slice of ginger root
Slice of cucumber
Any of the above in any combination
Experiment with how long to leave the flavours before you drink it.
Try sparkling water

Herbal tea/infusions
Most of these can be drunk hit or cold either using tea bags or fresh herbs and spices. For example, I pick mint straight from the garden on grate fresh ginger into boiling water.

Welcome to our forum @CoreyCharman.

You can't beat water out the tap, IMO. Leave to stand in your fridge for 10 minutes and it tastes wonderful, especially when you're thirsty.

I enjoy a daily espresso after breakfast and every once in a while as a mid-morning pick-me-up. When away from home I drink black filter coffee.

In hot weather tea with a slice of lemon is pleasant and in Winter an afternoon cuppa with a splash of milk never fails to quench my thirst.

We have some social events coming up which tend to run on late and there's seldom diabetic-friendly drinks available, so I'll be taking a supply of Marmite with me. There's always access to hot water. For meat-eaters, Bovril would do just as well, of course.

Once again, welcome.

I drink a half pint of water when I get up, then a mug of coffee with cream at some point in the day. After dinner I have tea, either lemon tea, mint or liquorice - or both mint and liquorice together. I use green tea.
There is a specialist tea and coffee shop not far away so I buy my supplies there - I get green gunpowder menthos and have my own little tea ceremonies.
In summer I have no added sugar squash around, and I might drink vodka and bitter lemon or rum and coke but not at all regularly these days.
Before bed I drink another half pint of water.

Coffee, black or with cream, tea without milk, fizzy water, sometimes with ginger or lemon. A slice of cucumber can add a pleasant flavour too. Tap water is out of the question where I live - it's revolting, and I like mine from higher up the food chain. I've been amazed at how inoffensive tap water in other parts of the country is.

Luckily I live in Scotland where the water out of the tap is excellent in fact the Highland spring factory takes its water from a mountain above my house , these days I only drink water , due to the fact I’m on dialysis and coffee is a no no ,

My go to when in pub or a restaurant. Just a piece of lime, no ice. Tea, coffee or water when at home. Unless it’s red wine with a meal. Never drank soft drinks as a child so don’t as an adult. Don’t like to consume sweeteners unless it’s a necessary tonic in the occasional gin.

I do not have diabetes
Try just a tiny amount of fruit juice and top up with water. Just a few mm only, just enough to slightly flavour the water

Usually just our tap water; fresh from the mountain behind the houses, coffee with breakfast and for a treat a flavoured, non sweetened carbonated water. I like most of the fruity flavours.

I drink tea and no sugar squash at home, can’t stand plain water and lattes if I go out.

Other
Hard liquid drugs, ie coffee, and tea, in the morning, pots of rooibos tea in the afternoon. Other herb teas of an evening. Water in between, usually in the car. When drinking alcohol, yeah - low carb beer sometimes, otherwise very dry sparkling wine/prosecco.
