What do you miss from the 'Olden Days'?

WAKEY WAAAAAKEEEY !

The Black & White Minstrels, The Clitheroe Kid,

and TV Bill and Ben, Andy Pandy, Sooty, Roy Rogers, Hopalong Cassidy, then a bit later Bilko and later still M.A.S.H.
LOL I cracked up laughing when I saw that! Sunday Roast, then 2pm the Billy Cotton Bandshow. I think I even remember the first episodes of Corrie and Emergency Ward 10 .. or maybe the first episodes I ever watched. My Mum always enjoyed Peyton Place. Dad liked Black and White Minstrels. Blimey, they wouldn't be able to show that now would they, what with racism and all that :-)

Peter Noone and the Hermans Hermits;

Making paper chains at Christmas;

Simple car engines;

My dungarees.
Gosh I can see me and my sister, sitting at the kitchen table, making paper chains. Such pleasure we got from it too. And Mum staying up to all hours on the night of Christmas Eve, making mince pies and heaps of other goodies that we kids likely didn't appreciate!

I've got a Hermans Hermits CD (I play in the car so no-one else has to hear it!)

There was one hit that I can't think the name of that was on the other of the 45 (yes old!!) of lady barbara that I loved but just can't see it on any of their downloadable itunes! Irritating the heck out of me now!!

Great Saturday morning entertainment, the show also feature the Arabian Knights (which was my fav) and The Three Musketeers.

What was the programme called again where they all lived on a bus, it was also a Saturday morning show.
