It's going to be a busy few days, but have fun and make the most of it.A day that started out as a very lazy day after two days on the bridge, not even a morning swim. Until 3 pm, when my boss called to ask if I could do the bridge tomorrow, please, please, please.
I had planned to clean up the house, get groceries, and cook for 3 days on the bridge tomorrow, and now I suddenly had to do it today.
I had wanted to make a moussaka, but not starting late afternoon and unplanned, so the new plan was meat loaf, two days with cauliflower and grated cheese, two days with tomatoes and mozzarella. Bumped into neighbour Tale in the supermarket and asked him if he was up for a spontaneous bbq tonight. (My dinner plan for today was spareribs, but I don't have the patience for a bbq, he has, and it's rather stupid to eat spareribs from the oven midsummer.)
Nope, he had plans with his girlfriend Astrid.
I got my groceries, cooked cauliflower, made a spicy meatloaf, and then Astrid came in to tell me that Tale is an idiot and of course we'll bbq together.
But they had some work to do first, and did I want to come for a swim after that?
So my lazy day has turned into a frenzy: groceries, unplanned cooking, an upcoming swim and then food in the garden!
I only have to make sure to get in bed at a reasonable time, 4 days of work is a lot, and it will be followed by a busy weekend with Mark coming for a sleepover and Astrids birthday party.
Oh well, life could be worse!
It sounds like a full-blown storm! How was it? Are your garden furniture (and garden trees) okay?Change in weather is definitely on way. Very breezy. Expecting 40mph gusts tomorrow so just tied the garden furniture down.
I didn't even taste my hasty made meatloaf yesterday before packing it to take with me to have on the bridge today.so the new plan was meat loaf, two days with cauliflower and grated cheese
Ended up a non event, just breezy. Furniture still in place. It sounds like a full-blown storm! How was it? Are your garden furniture (and garden trees) okay?
And did they?and could they kindly turn around while I got out.
Not sure, I didn't look at them! And did they?
My ibs disappeared totally when I went low carb. Wasn't expecting it but was a very welcome suprise. I think it was grains causing it. 5 years ibs free now, it's so freeing.Nothing really new here just the normal daily routines for me. Food is not realy low carb at the moment. I would say its reduced carbs. I have decided not to worry about the carbs and loosing weight at this point and to deal first with the ibs problems and get some stability there. Sugars are well controlled about 80% in range. Its like I have all the pieces but they belong to different puzzles and don‘t fit together.
Now to something more positive my best friend is getting married next year.
And i am looking forward to my holiday in London in September
Is it tasty? I can't imagine mixing weak alcohol with anything.2 glasses white wine with soda.
за твое здоровье!Is it tasty? I can't imagine mixing weak alcohol with anything.
Aww, it's so sweet of you to translate this!за твое здоровье!
It depends on your taste and how dilute you make it! Sometimes I just have a splash of water, other times just a splash of wine.Is it tasty? I can't imagine mixing weak alcohol with anything.
