More blood tests, an echocardiogram and goodness knows what else on the cards now. This was a new (to me) GP, a locum; a young Indian woman looking like a 5th of 6th former. Still, she was pretty thorough, told me my kidneys are not as good as hoped but at least not any worse than before, my heart is slightly enlarged, there is still fluid on my lungs but it may be something to do with the fluid retention that I have had for years, which may all be to do with my heart. None of this was said to me before this and the GP that asked for the chest X-Ray wasn't even going to tell me the result.
Sending you a hug because of the investigations needed but also pleased that your Dr is going to look into your health issues - good luck hope your tests happen quickly so you may get some answers soon.

Finally letting go of some of the clutter I've shuffled around for years, so trips out to the charity shop and tip again today.

I've been having porridge for breakfast, salad for lunch and thai green curry for tea, which is finished now. Today breakfast will be porridge, lunch will be salad with tuna and tea will be something quick like cheesy beans with sausages.

Breakfast: crackers and turkey mayo. Tea.

Legs and blood test day today so can't take all of my tablets until I get home around 12.30. If I take my blood pressure tablets, they won't be able to get blood out of me. If I take diuretics, the same applies and in any case I wouldn't be able to leave the house.

2nd meal will be salad with whatever fish Neil can get for me today.

Awake at silly o'clock! Decided to get up rather than lie there tossing and turning. I might have a very early breakfast and get on with the day if I don't feel sleepy again within the hour.

@Annb, I hope you feel a bit better when you wake up today x

Woke at 02.30 - not surprising since I went to bed about 11.30 last night. Asleep by midnight so after 21/2 hours laying still, my knees and hips had had enough. I will sleep some more during the day - inevitably.

Breakfast was a quarter of a soda scone with bacon sandwiched in it. A bit bland, I was overcautious with the salt.

Neil did manage to get some sea bass for me yesterday so that will be my 2nd meal with some salad.
