Hahaha I couldn’t understand a word of that. Obviously wasn’t a pate recipe though.
I dont like liver, wont have it in the house but OH loves it so cooks it if I am away. Why not try the chicken liver pate in M&S? I am sure it was one of the better ones in this house. I certainly would be too faint hearted to make it!

The pork knuckle is first boiled with seasoning for 2 1/2 hours, then crisped up under a grill to make the fat more crunchy. But that part depends on the cook/restaurant. Good with sauerkraut and beer.
I eat sauerkraut but don’t like beer or such fatty meat.
I bought a jar of sauerkraut about a month ago after reading about its benefits for gut biome. I cant get the lid off though - have tried banging on the counter, running lid under hot water, asking everyone I know but to no avail. I’ve told Mr C he must take it down the pub now and offer to buy a pint for anyone who can undo it.
Definitely had that at a street food stall run by a restaurant based in Newmarket. Functional on a frosty night when Christmas lights are switched on and lowest carb option. The pork knuckle is first boiled with seasoning for 2 1/2 hours, then crisped up under a grill to make the fat more crunchy. NEs today were pleasant/functional which for me is fine. NO B except TWAM before and after dog walk - about 6 pints in all. NE1 was an asparagus, mushroom and cheese omelette - eggs and asparagus less than 20 mins from bed and hens. NE2 was salmon (oven cooked yesterday in plenty of butter but no crisp skin) and avocado salad with OO and ACV dressing. I will shortly have stewed h/g rhubarb and fage 5%.
On the hot button issue of the day, I like liver and chicken liver pate - the food fairy makes a functional lc one - and once the dentist decides to crown my tooth I may eat the pork crackling lingering in a cupboard.
TWAM is indeed tea with almond milk. Fage is a brand of Greek yogurt - functional IMHODefinition of Twam? I thought it was tea with almond milk, but it doesn’t sound like it here!
What is fage?
I had a crown replaced today. The dentist was about to do a root canal effort to put a pin in to hold the crown in place, injections and drilling all happening, but it appears there is an advantage to being ancient and calcified! The nerve had died, and it was all too solid to drill into. So there was no chance of her doing a root canal procedure and I was spared. Age has some advantages.
Envy, envy, envy.... Brighton is lovely! One of my favourite places to visit when I lived in London.
You need one of these - the large red one. Works miracles.

I’ll let you know if it works

Sorry, wasn't thirsty this morningAh you confused me with the 6 pints!!
Hope it does the job. I nearly didn’t buy it because of the description (‘ideal for elderly and women’)! However while my hand was really playing up it was invaluable. Although perhaps I would have been better off without it as my jar opening is pretty much limited to almond butter these days
Lol I was a bit put off by that description too - very 1960s! But if it works I’ll get over it.
I had forgotten your hand would have given you problems with jars too. Can you manage ok now ( or have you just tried to stop buying almond butter, like me)
I had no idea you could buy timers for something like that slow cooker you mention.
I will check that out.
Thank you very much.
