And then, suddenly and without warning, it was 1pm and i had to out. Having missed my lunch 'window'. This led to a bit of concern from Mr B.
Begged me to eat, actually.
Based on previous experience he had some concerns that i might hypo.
2 hours later, gibbering in fear he persuaded me to sample a bacon and egg sandwich on white bread. Left the crusts.
The resulting total lack of spike means that (unfortunately) he may have been right.

I will never hear the end of it.

D: LC moussaka and Lindt coconut dark choc.

Are you with or without Libre at the moment? If you are with Libre, the data dump is likely to tell you.

L: romaine lettuce, cauliflower, broccoli & green pepper salad
D: a large glass of riesling, asparagus, and buffalo chicken wings

Highest BG reading for the day - 5.9

I intended to ignore my daily calorie limit since we were going out for dinner and a movie. I felt on the verge of being stuffed at the end of dinner. But when I tallied up the calories I was still right at the target (and pretty balanced for carb/protein/fat). Dang, even when I try to be bad I'm good. 114 days of being no more than 8% over my goal.

Yesterday was quite light ...

I'm conducting a damage limitation exercise due to prolonged daily painting and decorating with snack lunches and little time for shopping and cooking. Mostly as above, although one day Mrs Deejay & I shared a Tesco pizza for lunch. Also yesterday we went out for a family lunch and although I chose my food in advance online, when we got to the pub it was a Sunday special, so I gave up and had a roast with all the trimmings. For pud I had as much cheese as I could manage and 3 biscuits. My BS peaked after 4 hours at 7.7 and was back to 6.6 an hour later, so not too bad.
When I feel carb creep coming on I think of the many, many pages of food in Carbs & Cals I never touch, which keeps things in perspective.

puffed wheat,packet of crisps
2 hot cross buns

6.5 happy chappie
