Bed 8.2 FBG 7.8. BGs are still high but yesterday I was snuffly and my arms were agony. Felt as if they were very heavy and sore. Thankfully, that's passed too. I still seem to be relapsing but the periods are getting shorter and less severe. Who know, one of these days I might manage to get an antibody test but there again....
@DJC3 - I did laugh at your sleep talking experience. I guess she was greeting you during the night rather than "every morning". @Chook - one of my former colleagues had a baby boy that slept with his eyes open which was very creepy looking. You don't, however, want to tell someone their baby looks creepy
B. Yesterday - slice toasted LC bread with ham and coleslaw. TAG.
L. Nothing - went out for cream.
D. It was going to be chicken parmigiana but oddly I'd only put one chicken breast in the cooked dish which Hubby claimed so, as there was plenty sauce, I made a "pizza omelette". Cooked my omelette in the usual way, puffed it up under the grill and then spread the surplus tomato, mozzarella, oregano sauce over- there we go, pizza omelette! Has it with wilted spinach and a few veggie chips. 4 strawberries.
@Annb - glad to know I am no longer the sole owner of the giant egg slicer. I've used it for cheese, avocado and Hubby has used it on banana.

I very much doubt it. I made meals for our son and pureed them. That's when we got used to less salt in our food. I did it mainly because I thought the bought food was horrid. My DIL also cooked a lot for our 2 grandsons (as did I) but I find it more common to see kids with a pack of crisps, sweets or worse a Greg's sausage roll! Before my daughter was born I did some research on what you feed babies transitioning from milk to solids. One of the recommendations was lambs hearts and carrots pureed - it was her favourite. (And another recommendation was sweetbreads..... ewwww). I wonder if young mums feed their little ones those sorts of unusual things nowadays?
I'm catching up again. Been a bit "off" again. My favourite lamb shank recipe is Tom Kerridge's lamb shank madras. I did it in the IP.

But harmless, it is Grass Snake. Maybe i am peculiar, but i was delughted to see it, and so glad i registered it's presence before continuing with the hedge trimmer. Can you imagine the mess? No? I dont want to either .@SlimLizzy didnt like the look of that snake and it was big!
Sorry to hear you are struggling I've read a few articles on people who got covid-19 and although they should be over it every now and again the feel extremely fatigued and out of breath then get back to normal and relapsing again. I do hope things settle down for you though xBed 8.2 FBG 7.8. BGs are still high but yesterday I was snuffly and my arms were agony. Felt as if they were very heavy and sore. This recipe is ace..if only Mr PM liked lamb as much as I do!This looks great thank you. I did search the BBC good food app as I’ve found they are usually reliable recipes and often easily low carbed. Didn’t see this one though.
Sorry to hear you’ve been off again. Is it your legs?
@SlimLizzy we get snakes here too. Mainly grass snakes but adders as well. Over the years they have expanded their territory from just being on the nearby moor to now occasionally being found in people's gardens. They absolutely terrify me!
Why Chook? Did you have a nasty experience with one?
I have rat phobia, sometimes dormant, that was started by an incident in my childhood.
We had guinea pigs, I went to feed them after school, the bag of food was lying on it's side, I didn't think why, just put my hand in to get food and actually grabbed hold of a rat.
Cue screaming and panic, parents and brother shocked. Vicious pursuit of said animal and lifelong aversion.
Soup for breakfast after FBG of 5.8 - that's good for me but by the time I got to breakfast, it was 8.8. Currently 9.5. And worse, it may be too many veg. I'm beginning to feel it.
Might have 3 meals today. If so, lunch will be scrambled eggs and dinner will be mushrooms with some bacon. Unfortunately my v shopper bought smoked streaky bacon this week and smoked is something I don't usually like (except fish) but I'll make something of it to get it used up.
I wonder if my continuing fatigue is something to do with covid still hanging on, or if it is something else that needs to be dealt with. I still seem to be spending about 6 hours a night asleep and another 4 or so during the day.
