Thanks for the earworm!
I always thought it was the Gentle Duke of York, but I learned the song when my fluency of English was limited to 'yes', 'no' and counting from one to ten.
In Dutch the song is about prins Maurits, but he climbed up and down the hills with ten times as many men as your Duke. I expect this has more to do with the rhythm of the song than with actual accurate history writing though.
Ah, we're progressing from the Gentle Duke to Tom Waits.Last dog walk. Was raining so she wasn't interested...but I needed my exercise. She mostly won!
I prefer to eat the iron content in steak, than get iron drip fed into a vein at the hospital as it looks like rusty water coming out of the tap.First have to say that steak breakfast was impressive @Riva_Roxaban sure you aren’t competing in Tokyo?
I find that funny for some reason.Visitors due this weekend, one vegetarian, one no nuts, one no eggs, 3 teenagers, and me low carb. Ideas on a postcard please
How did I miss that part?! Must have been diverted by those dukes, princes and members walking their 10,000 dogs up and down hills in the rain I guess...I find that funny for some reason.

This is a recipe from my CMT (courtesy of @DCUKMod if I remember correctly) for delicious tandoori lamb chops.B: ff greek with seeds and cherries (English cherries and very good flavour)
L: leftover fritatta and half an avocado
D: Indian restaurant so tandoori lamb chops ( disappointingly dry) and a chicken dish I just picked the meat from. Glass of white.
A quick dash to buy some flowers also produced a chocolate éclair each
I dont think Xylitol is safe for cats but I just added one tabsp to the mix when appropriate then put it away and once they are baked cats are just not interested in any way. I guess dogs are more food motivated. Put 3 in freezer and had one each day since Thurs without any issues. Thanks for reminding me cheese scones on the “to do” list next week as have ground almonds approaching end date. The lemon muffins sound good, is xylitol ok for cats? I know it’s poisonous for dogs. I don’t think You’ve made made your cheese scones for a while either, they always made my mouth water.
