Similar sort of feeling when the oxcodone kicks in, it goes down my body nearly instantly, then back up again to the top of my head. Then a nice fuzzy feeling while the pain dissolves.Went away by itself, thankfully, although I'm weird in rather enjoying that odd fuzzy dizzy feeling.
As a former heroin addict (over 2 decades ago), I think I know the feeling, very apt description of the effect of the first inhalation of the day (minus the pain dissolving, that must be the best part of it I guess).Similar sort of feeling when the oxcodone kicks in, it goes down my body nearly instantly, then back up again to the top of my head. Is puking illegal in Holland? As a former heroin addict (over 2 decades ago), I think I know the feeling, very apt description of the effect of the first inhalation of the day (minus the pain dissolving, that must be the best part of it I guess).
(Disclaimer: Do not try this at home, very much not worth it. Will make you puke too. Also illegal.)
Please make sure to get what you need before you actually need it!The fuzzy feeling lasts about 10 minutes as the pains dissolve and disappear, good for aout 10 hours till the pain comes back. I proballly need a stronger patch as I have been on the 50 mcp for a fair while.
Temperature is fine. I did think it is something lingering from the last bug but I'm suspicious about low BP too (it happens with me). I did go to my Aqua class yesterday but told the instructor that I might have to give up early if the dizziness came back. I made it through the session and got a litre of water down me at the same time. Felt fine after that, which is why I suspect either BP or just not enough early morning water.Have you checked your temperature? I had some dizzy spells for a week after a nasty cold recently, with stubborn BG's. Finally I realised it's how I feel when having a fever, except I didn't feel feverish. Checked, 38.5, so that explained both the dizzy spells and the stubborn BG.

Sounds like your dosage an timing were spot on, back to starting level a couple of hours later, and without spiking in between!Ah well - nothing magic about my wholemeal bread. BG before breakfast - 14.0. Insulin at 9am. Ate at 9.30. Dropped 11/4 hours later to 9.6. Climbed another hour later to 13.2. Now 14.7. Wonder if that is it levelled off now. Hungry though. I might have a slice or so of ham before I go out.
Yes, I guess so, but I am still disappointed that there's nothing magic about my bread. Back to close to zero carbs.Sounds like your dosage an timing were spot on, back to starting level a couple of hours later, and without spiking in between!
Just to make life a bit easier - I'm exhausted after my trip out - I'm just going to defrost and heat the beef ragout I made a few days ago. Not going to add anything to it so it will be more like a soup, but that's OK. Doctor says get back to eating 3 small meals to help my liver - he thinks my efforts to cut down are leading to digestive problems which affect my liverBreakfast: 2 thin slices of h/m wholemeal bread - an experiment to see if this bread really doesn't produce a spike. One with butter and Dairylea cheese and the other with butter and Marmite. So far (after one hour) BG has dropped by 3 points, but we shall see.
Taken some of my pills, but I have a hospital appointment today so can't take diuretics. This will leave my blood pressure a little high, but since they will want to take blood, I expect, that's not a bad thing.
The local councillor just came to the door asking if we would mind if he got a ditch put into our croft to try to drain the road better (we are at the bottom of a little dip in the road, so water gathers there during heavy rain). Neil had actually started doing that before he became to ill to do the heavy work, so that's great. Turns out the councillor knew Alistair, but not Neil. He used to be a teacher at the primary school along the road and taught Alistair. Neil is almost 3 years older than Alistair, so never knew him.
Neil will go shopping while I am at the hospital so I have no idea what he'll be able to get for my meal tonight. I have a long list for him, but who knows what will be available?
