If you really like peanuts, why not? Don't think I would like it though. Peanut butter is OK as a thickener, of course, but that's with other, strong flavours.I'm thinking of making a peanut soup and adding sauerkraut.
What do you think, good idea or not?
I'll still have to try, can't have my neighbour dig up his dehydrator and not do my experimenting.
But being warned twice, I'll make a small amount as to not waste too much cheese.
Today was an easy meal, will be doing some real cooking again tomorrow.
Lidl had very thick cut bacon (not something normally available in the Netherlands, I had never seen anything like it until I visited the UK in october) so I had to try!
Had it with 3 very tiny eggs and a quick salad of arugola, tomato, cucumber, olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper with halloumi.

I don't like peanuts or peanut butter much, but I love peanut sauce and peanut soup! Not sure like sound of peanut soup so don't think appeals to me. Like sauerkraut with other things though! You'll have to let us know what it's like and what you used to make peanut soup.
Neighbour came by with his dehydrator for the popped cheese bits so I had the parts run a cycle in the dishwasher and spent some time finding out how to dry cheese.Looking forward to seeing if you crack it.
PS Your fry up looks great.

Geezzz! Your neighbour in the Garden always makes me think of Alan Bennett's Lady in the Van starring Maggie Smith. Maybe you should offer it as a sequel? He has one, brilliant idea @Annb !
He doesn't know where though, hasn't been unboxed yet since he moved so I need to have some patience.
The good news is that he wants to use it himself at some point in the next few months because he has to have his index finger amputated and wants to keep it (yes, he's an unusual man), so he'll search for the dehumidifyer, hopefully this week.
I prefer to make my cheese things before he uses the thing for his own experiment really.
Glad your son has his new job lined up, so the family doesn't need to be stressed over that.Tuesday 31 January - bed 7.1 FBG 7 4 Got a call to go pick up eldest from school - unwell. DIL working and son away sorting out redundancy paperwork. Poor wee soul was not great at all but he managed a lunch of sorts and a nap.
B.TAG
L. Bit of crustless quiche while caring for a sick boy.
D. After everyone deposited home - cheeseburger on a SRSLY seeded roll, coleslaw, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo.
PS son's redundancy is not an issue. He had a much better job already lined up months ago. View attachment 59112
I wish I could watch that!Geezzz! Your neighbour in the Garden always makes me think of Alan Bennett's Lady in the Van starring Maggie Smith. Maybe you should offer it as a sequel?
It's mostly a true story (apart from probably the usual dramatic licence). It's based on the relationship that Alan Bennett built up with a lady that lived in the driveway of his home for about 15 years in vans. A curious story. I think you will see why your Neighbour in the Garden makes me think about this.I wish I could watch that!
