What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Breakfast: Felt too **** to eat
Lunch: 1 slice of gluten free toast, with butter, goats cheese and fresh tomato with loads of black pepper.
Dinner: chicken, fried in butter, mushrooms stuffed with tomatoes and onion, fresh red pepper.
I really enjoyed my dinner. I've had a heavy cold for the last two weeks and it's just starting to lift. Dinner was the first meal I've tasted in two weeks.

B: bacon, egg, a few beans, hash, lemon-ginger tea
S: lc muffin with pate
D: butter chicken curry, with aubergines, peppers, courgettes, onion, cauli rice. Followed by lc icecream and cream.

Hello everybody:)

B. Chia seed and almond milk

L. Smoked haddock with cheese sauce with cauliflower cous cous salad

D. Strawberries and cream

I have a snack size blue Stilton cheese which I may have soon and a teaspoon of almond butter

Hello everybody
B. Chia seed in almond milk (very disappointing as I had forgotten to include the almond essence and a few grains of sweetener)

L. Stilton and cheddar cheese, Cole slaw, 4 grapes

D. Morrisons smoked haddock Florentine portion with cauliflower cous cous
Strawberries with single cream

B: bacon and egg and berry tea
L: not needed
S: 2 hobnobs. Bad B
D: leftover curry from last night, and lc carrot cake icecream, like last night. Didn't want to mess with a winning combo! Lol

they were plain, and you know, I didn't enjoy them at all. They were dry, relatively tasteless and far too sweet.

Apparently, i really am 'fat adapted' hahaha!

B: just a coffee substitute with cream
L: went out for lunch and ended up with fish and chips. not sure how it happened, actually. Ate all the fish, 1/3 of the chips, and peeled most of the batter off. Did indulge in 3 sachets of Tartar Sauce. Really enjoyed it.
D: Slow cooked smoked gammon joint in orange juice and leeks, with berries and cream to follow.

Far more protein than I am used to nowadays, but didn't notice any adverse effects.
Hopefully I won't get any carb cravings tomorrow.

What happened to the five a day? lol

Were you addressing me with that comment?

If so, please bear in mind that this is a thread for low carb eating, not Government Guideline eating.
You have no indication of portion sizes from any of my posts, nor do you have any right to make assumptions about the balance of macronutrients I eat. To do so would be as absurd as me assuming that you live on chocolate cheesecake, because you choose that for your avatar.
