And 45 mins post lunch 7.2 and falling. Odd the way the readings go.And pre lunch I'm back at 8.2 and falling. Time to have lunch , feed No 2 grandson before I head off to pick up Mum from a class she is covering at the sports centre , pick up No 1 from school , take Mum and No 2 home while No 1 comes back with me as he is refusing to go home as 1) He will be sad without Nana and Papa love and
2) Papa is making broth again!

It is weird. Following the previous days I'll get into the 6's and will stay there until it starts to rise again up to 7.9 - 8.2 pre bed. I 'd be overjoyed with your figures Chook - ah well maybe soon......Mine is behaving the same. 7am 6.3, 9am 6.7, 11am 6.9, 1pm 6.7 - just tested and now down to 6.2. My record shows that if it carries on like it usually does I'll be at around 4.3 to 4.9 by dinner time then between 5.2 and 5.6 at bed time.
And I haven't eaten anything yet.
Getting back to the BSD has helped. In the time between Christmas and the Tuesday after New Year when I started BSD my fasting readings were in the late 7s to mid 8s. The scary highest was 9.8 and that evening 2hrs PP was 11.3 - thats when I got worried I might be going back in to 'diabetes denial' whuch I've experienced twice before. Luckily I was still testing so I gave myself a good talking to and started the BSD on the day Asda delivered my next shopping order. I'd still like to get back down to my regular lowest which was FBG of 4.2-4.4 when I was doing BSD before. Hopefully one dasy I'll get there. It is weird. The BSD is next on my agenda. Currently doing Diet Doctor 2 week LC challenge then onto BSD . You've reassured me I will get back. Mine were usually in the 5's. Never managed to get to 4's but maybe I'll surprise myself.Getting back to the BSD has helped. My fasting blood sugar in morning has been lower than 4.0 for 8 days, sometimes dipping down near 3.0. I have started to follow the 8 week blood sugar diet again since New Year, having taken a break for a month. Don't know what my levels are at other times of day because the test strips are so expensive! The BSD is next on my agenda. Currently doing Diet Doctor 2 week LC challenge then onto BSD . I'm one of the lucky ones who has a doctor who prescribes strips and says he will do so until someone says otherwise and even then he may still ignore it.My fasting blood sugar in morning has been lower than 4.0 for 8 days, sometimes dipping down near 3.0. Lost about 2 and a half stone between August 1st and December 1st 2016. I think I persuaded my GP to prescribe them once or twice in the past, but no luck since.I'm one of the lucky ones who has a doctor who prescribes strips and says he will do so until someone says otherwise and even then he may still ignore it.
It is indeed brilliant - very well done as it is tough going. I've shed 18 lbs so far but want a whole lot more. And as predicted Chook I'm now down at 6.4 just waiting for the night time increase now (or maybe it will surprise me)That's brilliant - well done
Gee Crackslaw is Amazing!!Ok had 2 walnuts this morning before the school run. Skipped the latte. Was fasting 8.2 by the time I got back and pre breakfast I was 9.8. Admittedly not as bad as yesterday. I've had breakfast now so let's see what that does.
B. Morning coffee with a dash of cream.
2 scrambled eggs with parsley and 2 slices of crispy bacon.
L. Will be yesterday's leftover chicken with red pesto, feta and olives with steamed greens.
D. Will be my first trip into Crackslaw!
