There's 4 in my curry with the ginger.yes, I always have a bit of a giggle when a recipe says 2 garlic cloves.
2 pathetic wimpy little tiny garlic cloves from the inside of the bulb?
or 2 huge great glossy succulent cloves from the outside of a giant bulb?
I think you can guess which I usually go for...
Let me know if you live anywhere near Doncaster x
Family actually ate the same dessert as me tonight and liked it!! One of them even tried my DD naan and thought it tasted better than the 'real' naan. Finally mastered the DD Naan no crumbly edges this time but I did add nigella seeds again to the recipe. My kitchen is wafting all sorts of spicy aromas through to me. Anyway
B. Usual 2 scrambled eggs with parsley and 2 rashers of crispy bacon. Cup of vegetable boullion.
L. Breakfast was so late it was lunch.
D. 1 piece of chicken pakora with chilli and tomato dip. (Rest of the family is having chicken pakora, poppadoms, onion bhajis, spicy onions and various dips)
An aubergine curry but I've add spinach and green beans to it with lamb cutlets marinated in yoghurt and tumeric. Served with broccoli rice and Diet Doctor Naan bread. (Rest of the family are having normal naan and brown basmati) Recipe is on the Diet Doctor Challenge thread.
Low carb ricotta pancakes with a mix of blueberries, strawberries, raspberries soaked in chambord , couple of teaspoons extra thick cream and a tiny drizzle of sweet freedom.
I will have my little bottle of prosecco too. Haven't had coffee, tea or alcohol since last Saturday so will be nice to have something other than water. Oh and curry tastes a wee bit mild for us so I'm upping the spicing.
