I can cope with tuna for breakfast - used to have it often, when a certain job role dictated a fast, portable breakfast - but I am seriously impressed that you can stomach mackerel at that time in the morning!
Yesterday:
B: coffeesub and cream
L: nothing
S: seaweed thins (decided I LOVE them, and ordered more. These next ones are 'sweet soy', with a whole 2g carbs in each pack. Do I know how to live, or wot?) and then some kale crisps later
D: a dietdoctor recipe for Thai pork meat balls. Only I stir fried the meatball ingredients, because I couldn't face balling it up. Turned out very nice, but a bit mild for my tastes. More chilli and ginger next time!
Ah ....this was your weekend away meal. The brie jumped out at me when I saw the menu but I'd have been disappointed with the breadcrumb coating. Main I'd have had rib eye - they can't get a rib eye wrong. How was the hotel?Yesterday:
B: cheese omelette and mushrooms
L: fathead pizza
D: baked Brie with salad (came with breadcrumbs all over so scraped out centre)
Duck with carrots and broccoli (was supposed to be with a Dijon, port and cream sauce but was suspiciously more like a redcurrant sauce)
Cheese board - ate the cheese and one grape - the celery came as about one inch sliced into ten pieces
One G&T and a bottle of red wine less one glass!
