What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

B: Coffee & cream
L: Corned beef, iceberg lettuce
D: Chicken Korma, tbsp brown rice, poppadom
Reading of 8 two hours after eating! Back down to 5.4 at three hours, but up again to 6.4 this morning.

B 2 slices dry cured back bacon 1 tomato / 2 slices cheddar cheese / burgen bread
L 3 sml low carb crackers / cheddar cheese. coconut / vanilla greek yogurt / raspberries / blueberries
S homemade bounty truffle
D homemade fish pie / salad. sugar free jelly with whipped double cream / raspberries / blueberries
 
B: Fresh blackberries & black cherries
L: Cheese, hummous, carrots
D (will be): Roast lamb, mixed salad, roasted celeriac; Coyo & stewed rhubarb
Carbs: 49g

Hmm... let me see if I can remember...

Yesterday
B: coffeencream
L: baked leak with eggs dropped in and baked again with a cheese topping
D: belly pork (roast) and green salad

Today:
B: Full English
L: not needed
D: roast chicken, caulicheese and sugarsnap peas, lemon chia pud
 
B natural yoghurt, blackberries with sunflower and chia seeds

L homemade beetroot and feta burgers with lidl roll and rocket (BBQ)

D - too stuffed from picking at BBQ

S - pepper/carrots with hummus, BBQ asparagus, satsuma, pistachios, watermelon
 
I'm back!

B bacon eggs coffee
L three chipolatas
D ribeye steak salad strawbs and cream with one square melted dark choc

Jasmine green tea.

And I've now officially started my first fast in two years....I'm feeling excited!

B: camomile tea, smidge of maple syrup.
L: as above, nectarine.
D: tested at dinner time and I was having a hypo, but not feeling any symptoms. So a few sweets and nicked a slice of hubbys pizza ( my body won't thank me tomorrow).
S: Apple and pear barley water, normal water.
 
B: coffee and raspberries.
L: cucumber, melted brie, tomato, ham and prawns.
S: raspberries, strawberries and cream.
D: pork, spinach, mushrooms, broccoli and strawberries.

Had a reading of 10.5 today. I don't think strawberries are agreeing with me anymore :'(
 
Breakfast: Green salad, grilled tuna
Lunch: 2 chicken kebab; half an avocado
Dinner: will be a cup of home-made vegetable soup

L green tea with jasmine
D in about 90 mins will be pulled duck and green beans.

Today was my first 24hr fast. Wasn't hungry til starting the tea for the kids....

B: Black Coffee. NuZest good green stuff and Clean lean protein smoothie with frozen mixed berries.

Snack: Matchbox size cube of cheese,

L: 1 slice bacon chopped and mixed into half an avocado, boiled egg and leafy greens

D: Corgetti bolognese made with lean turkey mince, tomatoes, mixed peppers, chilli and garlic. Parmesan sprinkled.

D Ham and tomato omelette

Monday
Late B - Greek yog and frozen berries (tasted better than the ice cream that I craved in the sunshine))
L - Half Lidl roll with cheese and tomato
D - Avocado and tomato with french dressing
S - rather more than the 'handful' of peanuts that I had planned. Red wine.

38g carbs - over my target of 30g
 
B: coyo with a kiwi, an apricot, a few strawberries, milled flaxseed, cinnamon and a couple of drops of maple syrup. Camomile tea.
L: nothing.
D: sausage sandwich with granary bread, cherry tomatoes and rocket.
S: fizzy water, apple and pear barley water.
