What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

B. 4 streaky rashers Bacon. 1 fried egg. 1 fried tomato.
Had 1 sausage mid morning & 1/2 digestive biscuit.
L. Home made chick soup (made from Caracas, so not
much meat) sweet corn & a few veges and I added some Chia seeds.
D. Later on. Fresh salmon, salad & my newly discovered cauli. rice!
 
Yesterdays effort:

Brekks: 2 Eggs fried in butter, 3 rashers of bacon and a small bit of left over Frittata chucked in the pan.
Lunchie: Vegetable/Cheddar Soup made by my lovely HID
Dins: Chicken Fajitas using Iceberg Lettuce instead of Tortillas, with homemade guaucamole and tomato salsa
Pudd: Slice of flourless Almond & Lemon "Cake" with Clotted Cream again made by my lovely missus.

The flourless Almond & Lemon "Cake" with Clotted Cream again made by my lovely missus sounds yummy. Do you have a recipe. I have just gathered the ingredients together for my first Mug Muffin, cant wait to try it!
 
B. Bacon & Tomato
L. Jelly, raspberries & yoghurt with linseed sprinkles
Snack - 2 shortbread biscuits (shhhh! BG spiked)
D. Gammon Steak, Tomato & Pineapple, Celeriac Rosti, shredded cabbage & leek. More jelly & yoghurt

Am I a jelly baby????
 
B: Almond scones & liver pate
L: Cauliflower and new potato (wee one) cheese, strawberries & cream
D: Egg, olive & tomato mayonnaise with salad greens (had to go out and buy some as the caterpillars have now devoured the few I had left in the garden), jelly & cream with grated 85% chocolate
S: 2 mini Babybel
 
B. 2 burgen toast with cheese triangles
L. Tuna crunch
D. Lamb steak and roasted veg which was horrible. Funny feet
S. Nuts, apple, dark choc

Feel like Ive forgotten something......
 
Had the fresh salmon, & salad, for dinner about 6.30 pm forgot to add the cauli rice. 3 hrs later bs 4.7 so had toast & cheese. Feel as tho I have undone my goody things now.

We are human. We do this. No worries. Hope you enjoyed it.

B: Poached eggs on almond/linseed loaf, butter & yeast extract with salad
L: 3-cheese green salad
D: Kerala masala beef curry and loads of steamed leeks, broccoli & celeriac, plus raita (I love grinding the spices though they make me sneeze) Thickened with butternut squash cooked in the sauce and then blended.
Treat: berries and double cream with grated 85% choc, in the bath.
 
Puzzled by only 6.4g carbs for 300g of vegetables?????
its 5.9 carbs for the 300g of
reading from the pkt per 100g boiled
carrots 4.4 carbs 100g
broccoli 1.1 carbs 100g
mushroom 0.4 carbs 100g
foods all from farm foods

Interesting - still seems very low to me. Sometimes these companies get it wrong. Worth checking on an app or chart (e.g.myfitnesspal) I would have thought that lot was nearer 20g carbs!

I am happy that it's correct.being as it's boiled frozen.I think if it were fresh it may be different .i don't know I hate veg anyway
 
Ah right they are all in separate packets, Ive got you now. Its funny how different brands can have different values. I always compare no matter what I am buying. Good on you for eating so much veg considering you dont like them very much.

L. chicken breast 100g,carrots 100g,broccoli 100g,mushrooms 100g. carbs 6.4g,cals 169.

I've been bad today, not only did I succumb to a pack of Organix Goodies organic cheese and herb puffs (15g bag 9.something carbs) in Waitrose, but I also had two Carr's water biscuits (2.5g each) slathered in Sainsbury's organic soft cream cheese, with an organic red grape halved on each. Probably the only grapes I will see tho as husband is quite capable of eating the rest while cooking.

In theory, dinner tonight is Welsh organic lamb chops with broccauli mash or ratatouille.
