Brekkie: 2 egg and bacon on buttered Livlife bread plus a :
Greggs' latte

Snack: 2 squares 70 % choc

Lunch: posh pork scratchings and Brie (O how I love this lunch)

Evening: pork steak, sugar snap peas, samphire (awesome) with butter, 2 onion bhajis

Am stuffed. May not have room for pud!

Thought I would entertain you all with my carbs, cals and fat for a few days, mainly cos I'm curious myself:
Carbs - 69g (half of that was the latte! :shifty:)
Cals - 2,338
Fat - 142g
Protein - 133g (which seems rather a lot... never totted it up like this before. Fascinating)

A very weird day today.
Felt hungry from 10am onwards - can only assume it was having carbs (berries and yog and lowish fat for brekkie). Then I was stuck with the salad at lunch which just made things worse. It carried through all day, and led to me eating huge amounts - and I'm still craving! Absurd. And not something I'm going to repeat. I hope.

Breakfast: berries and Greek yog
Snack: coffee and cream with 2 squares 70% choc
Lunch: chicken, cheese and coleslaw with green salad
Snack: small 9bar
Dinner: pork steak, sugar snaps, runner beans, samphire, butter and an onion bhaji followed by jelly and cream
Snack: profiteroles and cream

So, the awful truth:
Carbs - 105g
Cals - 2,758
Fat - 212g
Protein - 112g

I'm Ok with everything except those carbs. Far above my body's personal tolerance.
Back to hardcore protein breakfasts :sour:
Provided I beat tomorrow's knock on cravings, of course.:nailbiting:

Like you I'm far better with a protein/fat breakfast. Had berries today as they needed using up and every so often I think of my higher than he lies yo see cholesterol level and panic about the bacon, but I have felt far hungrier all day and have actually thought about my next meal far more than is now usual for me. Managed not to cave in to temptation as I have a pantry full of crisps for junior's weekend away at festival- spent evening trying on stuff that didn't fit properly and it's getting there so that keeps me motivated.

@Steve714 if I had to hazard a guess, I'd say that the Alpen, possibly the milk, the subway sub and the rice won't be doing your BS levels any favours. Do you test before and after eating? Only way to see what you can and can't get away with .

Hope you feel better soon @Avocado Sevenfold

The heat has been making me feel ropey too. I feel really bloated and drained. Off on holiday Friday for few days to Dorset and the humidity looks frightening.

Snack: 1 square 70% choc
Lunch: Brie and pork scratchings
Dinner: crustless quiche, cherry toms, guacamole, samphire, berries&cream

Woke up with carb cravings, so came out fighting with the sausages. But it took the cream in the coffee to kill them. :smug: After that, I've been ok all day.

Carbs: 37g
Cals: 2137
Fat: 134g
