I'm going to play about more with ingredients for the next batch and may even treat myself to a coffee grinder so I can get the nuts smaller and will add coconut too. I love them! Glad you do too x

Diagnosed prediabetic Easter 2014. Just left to get on with it, no guidance or help from GP. Every day I'm learning something new.
I was thinking maybe orange zest would be nice. My rude daughter brought me a bottle of duty free bourbon back from her hols today. (It is called "knob creek" lol). Bourbon chocolate nutty balls...mmmmmm :hungry:

Chicken cooked in the oven with orange, chilli and oil, with cauliflower cheese and peas :) delicious and even though my portion looked pretty decent, it was less than 15g carbs!

I want some creaky knob too!

On waking: 2 Brazils
Brekkie: Easiyo mango stevia yog. Blimey. Yum. Should have put ground almonds or ground flax in it. Will do tomorrow. Coffee with cream
Elevenses: 9bar
Lunch: dog walk (working from home today) and half a crust less quiche
Fouroclockses: teensy Gu chocca mouse (sharp intake of breath. This is why working from home is not good too often).
Dinner: roast chicken leg and caulicheese and green beans

Thanks to @Avocado Sevenfold :nurse: I feel my mojo beginning to revive

Fouroclockses: teensy Gu chocca mouse :wideyed: It must have broken into your house!

(Says she with a whole cupboardful of glass Gu ramekins )

they are so useful though for serving things in.... like the rhubarb brulee I'll not be making with the dish of stewed rhubarb in fridge.. never having used artificial sugars, do they brown and melt like the real stuff or not?

No creeky knob for me I'm afraid.......

But, I did have:

Lemon and ginger tea. Egg white omelette. Yoghurt

Leftover chicken stirfry made into a soup with added spinach, cashews and miso paste

Decaf cappuccino and 9 bar (probably should have had decaf with cream, must remember this)

Crustless quiche, salad, avocado and coleslaw. Instant berry icecream (made with blackberries, not as nice as the raspberry one)

Off topic: does Costa have a coffee with cream option?

Just bustling off to see...

Edited to add: nope. I will have to ask for an Americano and then ask for cream to add to it. Will report back on the result...

Do you have a waitrose near you Brunneria? They do a coffee with cream option (if you ask for cream instead of milk) x
Don't tell everyone but it's also free if you get a my waitrose card

Sadly, my nearest Waitrose is about 50 miles, and the toll to cross the Humber Bridge.
Very annoying.

Ah well, hopefully costa will oblige x Humber bridge? you must be near Hull then? Not that many Waitroses up there I believe?
North East Lincolnshire, South of the bridge. Sainsburys (small branch) is as posh as it gets round here.
That is why God created the internet and postmen!

Greek yoghurt with frozen berries.

Quorn with broccoli, baby corn, mange tout and spring onion in soy, lemon and sesame oil sauce.

Roasted pepper stuffed with veggie bolognaise, cheddar and mozzarella cheese with spinach, peas, courgette and green beans.

ALMOST ate little mans chocolate mousse that he didn't want, but willpower kicked in!

It all looked good until I had a cup of tea with a sugar. Oops.

breakfast quorn sausages, tomato, mushrooms
lunch mackerel and feta salad
