i just nod at appropriate times, not been caught out yet.
First digital painting done today...Apple Blossom in the SketchClubApp. Took me nearly couple hours. It is right outside my potting shed window.

I am not happy with it at all...
Tried another painting with different typefaces (fonts) in it...butI don't know what I am doing with the size of the typeface, it is responsive to the pressure and twist and turn of the finger on the tablet screen...here is is...not satisfied with it....Took me an hour ish...

Sunny and birds singing loudly, so that's nice.
Me and Steph went to Kensington gardens a while back, quite amazed that there were parakeets in the park, a largeish flock of them.
Quite surprised ( I know easily shocked)
To see we have a small group in a tree outside one of the neighbours back garden..
Beautiful looking birds, such bright colours.

we're back from this morning's shopping expedition (safely as far as we know), and we've delivered mum's stuff to her and had our village walk whilst the sun was in evidence
We managed to pick up Katy's worming tablet from the vet whilst we were out too, the system works by phoning the vet to book, then phoning when you arrive, then they come open the door and hand you the pill box
if you have a pet to see the vet they have put a big cage by the doorstep and you pop your pet in it phone them and then leave, they come and take them in and you pick them up in the reverse pattern. They put the pet in the cage then phone/text you to come back to get them.

@Muddy Cyclist - first of the new series today, really love it, especially the lacy flowers and the light (my commiserations on the 'muddy' , it's my bete noir since I started doing watercolourto wit the sky of no 1 below ).
Today's art catch up
no 1 - another try with the Windsor and Newton student sketch box, to see whether I would be able to deal better with this paint on the new paper, Nope, still a big drying shift.
I've been doing some research and because this box is around 50 years old I'm wonderiing if the unidentified blue is 'Prussian Blue' (apparently used to be popular but was less stable than the latest versions), which has a big drying shift (drying lighter and greener!) size about 6 x 9 inches

Meanwhile have completed my daily French lesson.

Today am planning to get some of the boxes sorted, plant out a row of beans and a few other veggies and some flowers. An aunt gave us half a dozen clumps of flowering plants in pots, so far only two have made it into the ground. There might have been more interest in flowers without the shopping restrictions.
Have realised am not quite my usual self this morning. Distinct lack of energy. So will be interesting to see if I get anything much done.

You are a girl after my own heart. I always think there is a use for everything once used and I think the opposite might have in some part got us in to the eco situation we are in now. Here is Paul explaining....That is really interesting. I had no idea that Blackbird" was inspired by Johann Sebastian Bach's Bourrée in E minor. Blackbird is a particular favourite of mine.
After two complete disasters I have managedto complete the next Hedgerow Watercolour based on the sunrise seen from our conservatory. watercolour A4 about 2 hours, on and off....

We have to keep all our veg and seed covered or they are emptied by birds or squirrels. Mrs MC wove spiders webs out of garden string to start, now we cover them with an old mosquito net.
Yep our back garden with conservatory definitely faces East, front garden West, unless this changed world is doing things I'm not aware of.Oops just seen its sunrise but sometimes confusing...lovely regardless.
