That was adventurous, night skies are difficult to depict, great that you enjoyed the creativity. I agree about the foreground, good nice feel to it. Seascape also good, your stile, works well.good evening all
was 4.3 this morning
rain here this morning but it became a fine afternoon so we went out for a walk and then went out into the garden and transplanted a few things
It's still odd to me the way the days merge together without the usual shapes to the weeks
I'm very grateful that we can get a bit of time outside, that I have my knitting and that this thread inspired me to go back to painting
Lots of people walking dogs after the showers today
Hope your day is treating you kindly
@gennepher nice sense of scale in today's work
@Muddy Cyclist I like the clouds rolling in and contrasting with the light falling on the distant landscape in this one
Art catch up - trying out the new paints, some new colours to try mixing
no 1 - sunny seascape
View attachment 40828
no 2 - the sky ...not my best( it was supposed to be the milky way but it came out rather apocalyptic ), an interesting experiment non the less.
I quite like the foreground colours though

Thank you @Muddy Cyclist for the compliment.Moody, love the sky and some real depth to the land. Probably the last pastel for a few days with the weather closing in.
I really liked both paintings. Very different - but both very good.
Love your painting. It looks like it is just about to rain
;
Little wonder you cant put on weight @SlimLizzy with the doing of lots - perhaps that's why I'm struggling to keep weight off - the doing of little - but given the choice....
Winner for the mixed pickle with dill. I made a lacto fermented version with our home grown glut back in The Old Country as my good lady hasn't the same love for vinegar in all its varieties as myself. Good luck with the Fibre Flour. IDK what my fbg is as strips still not arrived. To be honest, even though I see something on the meter screen when I do test, I suspect I know just as much this morning. Chicken and Skilandis day today - sufficient unto the day.Good morning everyone from another lock down, knock down day in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of sitting in the sunshine until your arms go red came in at 5.9 this am.
New morning routine;
Blood sugars
Inhaler
Tea
Rinse the beans for sprouting
Gas the chili peppers that are fermenting to make sriracha
Stir the poorly kefir
Water the seedlings
Koffy
A nice lay down
Planted some ginger yesterday, will see how that will work out, and also did some pickling. Just two jars; carrot with spices and a mixed radish, cucumber and red onion with dill. We still have pickled ginger left but will probably be pickling some more next week.
I got a delivery of something called Fibre Flour yesterday, a resistant wheat starch that replaces normal white flour and only 4% carbs. Will have a play with it today.
Have the most wonderful day that you can. Don’t listen to the news too much. Bird feeders to re-fill and then another koffy.
I see your Kefir is poorly. Is this the kefir that was hibernating in your fridge or did you have to use your backup from the freezer?Good morning everyone from another lock down, knock down day in the dark and dangerous north

Oh yes - lacto ferment - wonder if I should make some Kimchi? Maybe. I won’t worry about it. A kimchi day will look after itself and today has it’s own troubles - like will it stop dithering and either give me some sun or just get on with raining.Winner for the mixed pickle with dill. I love it MCto post mopey faily painting,

They apparently are uncounted for...I wonder if they have been sold outside the UK wouldn't be surprised."which is one reason why they haven't all been distributed".
