Thanks, it’s always very atmospheric when they come to stayThere is a nice autumnal feel to this art. One of those early Autumn Mornings where shapes come and go as the light struggles in the thin air. A good Atmospheric achievement. All that spooky Behaviour of your little visitors and wind must have influenced your artistic ability.
6.3 this morning, but once again I was up late and then slept in
@gennepher I had to call into my health centre yesterday and overheard the practice manager telling a patient who wasn't wearing a mask because she felt it infringed her rights that it was ok, she could just say that she had a medical conditionAll I hear now is "Well, not many people died and it was mostly in care homes so it's not a problem".
Yep, gossiping away - fun and games on the wireFbg 7.9
A friend sent me photo from an A&C place of a Chinese painting of sparrows chattering, hung on the wall. You could do this she texted.
Yesterday there were starlings on my telephone wire. So ‘Starlings gossiping’...

Great flowerpot man - nice bike.View attachment 43600 Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all who wonder where the weather went, not the rain or wind we know that they are holidaying here.
A 6.2 this morning on the meter of misbehaving and naughtiness.
Attached is a picture I tried to upload yesterday from my ride on Thursday, but failed.
I have ridden past this potman a few times, but this time I stopped and took a picture, just as his creator arrived a lovely lady arrived who told me just how popular he is, lots of people stop for photographs, walkers, cyclists, motorcyclists and motorists. One of the joys of two wheels is you see the unusual and invariably it will brighten day.
So a big thank you to the lovely lady who created the pot man and I wish her well with her plans for next year.
For the interested the bike is a 700 cc Yamaha Tracer.
Well folks we have our grandchildren for the day, chaos, mayhem and lots of telling off's for me and me's.
Have a great day fellow posters and painters and 2 wheelers.
Not really too much in a day. Rather, too much in a very short period of time .Greetings everyone on a morning when I feel fitbit has sadly measured my sleep in hours and minutes not a whole season. The gift of God that is salmon and avocado salad prompted Scanny McScannyface to make me believe my fbg was 4.6 - seems about right so no stabbing this morning. Today I will mostly be wearing far too many clothes, obtaining quotes to make this place both suitable for us and sellable should some of the more suitable properties still be/become available. @dunelm - too much tea? as politicians say, I don't recognise that concept. You must have caught the alternative truth bug doing the rounds. How very zeitgeisty. @lindisfel here is a link to fenland art mainly from Lincolnshire/Peterborough edge. The first painting, Morton Fen, is so much my comfort zone for scenery and sociability https://nicktearle.net/fenland-paintings

1 and 2 are personal choice. Who you unwittingly? take with you or take out but remain unscathed yourself is the issue IMHO.Two ways to look at this mask dilemma
1. OK don't wear a mask and risk dying.
2. OK don't wear a mask and risk dying.
As for the practice manager, retraining and a swift boot up the a rse.
Yes I know the arguments about masks, but the not wearing a mask indicates the level intellect of that individual.
My reply would get me banned from this thread and forum @Alien Aspie for life...so I had better refrain...6.3 this morning, but once again I was up late and then slept in

Can I grab these people and section them and order their restraint in care homes for an indefinite period of time?

welll.
if you think the drive in wales is bad..
you've deffo never been in an Indian taxi, as he races at highest speeds on poorly B roads, carpeted in dogs, cows & Indians on scooters just stopping in middle of the road to have a chat, at 1:AM..., to your apartments,
while having an indepth conversation on his mobile, with his mother (most times), while tuning the radio to the NEXT station up, as the music on this one is 'poor' aka
****E.
and occasionally looking back at us to enquire if we need a driver for the next 3 weeks (IF we live)
and laying out his sales pitch for where we might go and how quickly HE can get us there, regardless of the traffic..
all this while we look on in shock at the scenery rushing past as we traverse the lanes & bends, in a giddy flight to our meeting with our GOD OR the owners of our rooms.
and most times it's been the room owner..TG
But i do take your point
i still travel with my foot on that invisible brake pedal EVERY time i'm Not the driver...
and lets NOT talk about being on the back of ANY bike...
even if it's Alf or Dunelm..
Hi all.
temp 35.7
FBG 6.4..locklown loser i'm afraid,
but taking steps to get 'Back' to better numbers.
a desperate piece for the driving @gennepher
so sorry to have heard that.
and my flippant remark, clearly put in it's place.
sounds like you were tough from the Get Go, sadly.
and i fear i succumbed to your ebay virus genn.
went looked at a scooter yesterday.
price way too low and i wasn't too far away, so why not
As good if not better in the flesh then i thought.
gent a teacher, very friendly, in for a chat, cuppa etc.
thought his bike was worth a lot more, ( several hundred according to rags guides etc. )
so i posted in a ridiculously low figure, hoping to help him on his was to a decent price..
yep you guessed it,
now the proud owner of another scooter..
not all bad news though.
it's newer, better mpg and... ULEZ compliant,
which pablo isn't,
but pablo was my spirit guide to scooter life, so either way he has served his purpose well.
a few weeks of riding to establish which is best one for us, then one is on it's way.
Just getting ready to walk our surrogate dog
Richmond park, the Deer... and for the dog..deer poo..awaits
enjoy your day all..Toot Toot
Sounds good @Alien AspieI have sent a written a letter of complaint to the senior GP who is a friend so I know he'll do something about it. I'm not looking for her to lose her job, I have just suggested retraining on viral awareness.
Me too especially when my grandson is the driver.i still travel with my foot on that invisible brake pedal EVERY time i'm Not the driver
Scariest drivers I have ever experienced are Taxi drivers in Skiathos, particularly at night time. They seemed to think cars could shrink to go through gaps and as long as doors would shut passenger numbers didn't matter.Me too especially when my grandson is the driver.
