@dunelm I love this!Good morning everyone from a bit of a late start here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of Bacon, eggs, Heck-it’s-a-sausage and fibreflour slice came in at 4.9 this am
Lazy, lazy day today - must be post bin day blues.
Yesterday’s planned outing and explore went well. We found animal tracks, seed heads, maple helicopters, magic sticks, early dropped conkers, chicken of the woods (edible fungus) and all manner of exotic creatures hidden from view.
Swing parks, ice cream, feed the ducks, spot the herons, back in time for fruit juice and a biscuit. Wish we had taken the grandchildren now!
@gennepher and @Muddy Cyclist - nice and simple but got something down, super duper. As I am on a very slow tick over today I am joining ranks.
Hope everyone has a good day. I am organising fresh koffy if anyone want’s some.

hugs for the numbers alf xGood Morening Ladies and Gentlemen.
A 5.4 this morning on the meter of mystery and misbehaving, strenuous morning planned so me and me's shall be juggling insulin again, If this carries on I shall be looking for employment as a juggler in a circus.
Some nice arty flatulent works of art and photographs, keep up the good work.
Well fellow posters what shall we make of today? Media avoidance is a high priority for me, and is it high priority for you all?
Whatever, strive for maximum enjoyment.
A very interesting article. I was especially interested in what they say about vitamin D because right at the beginning my daughter was advised by a doctor friend to start taking a high dose Vit D supplement as it had been proved to be effective against the more serious side effects.
John Campbell has been putting out this message for ages, as are some of the medics he interviews from other countries. That's really interesting. So the word about vitamin D is definitely getting around. Although there is one major problem - the pharmaceutical companies can't make massive profits from it.
Ventured out to my barber's house this am, it was the first official cut of my hair since
Nov last year.
Well, the duchess did nag it once and I cut the sides looking in the windows from outside (so I didn't get into trouble cutting and dropping hair in the bathroom).
I need not have been concerned, he wore a visor and coverall, so much so I joked with him about how he would have also been a surgeon 200 years ago!
With typical gritty Cumbrian humour he asked me if I would like some blood letting as well as an hair cut?
Which I declined!

4.5 this morning after a bit of a restless night in fact at 3 AM I was amusing myself by playing nessun dorma on my Amazon Echo.
Wife was not so amused though.
Greetings all. Wet and chilly here but the newly seeded and fenced lawn is benefiting. Stabbo has me pegged at 5.3 today which is a poor return for LC woe IMHO but in the circs it may be better than it appears. #kneegate improved with naproxen and tea, tea, tea. 2 granddaughters for the price of one today and the jewel in the crown - grandson- after schoolHope this finds you as it leaves me, really don't wish you were here - wouldn't wish that on anyone. See, @Muddy Cyclist I'm totally inoculated against contentment. Pip pip old toots.
Interesting science article on Covid-19. You may have seen it already but just in case...

5.1 this morning. Lots more admin today and emails to answer because everyone is returning their Covid-19 forms.
This month is a sort of anniversary. 8 years ago I took statins for 26 days which caused massive muscle damage and my resting heart rate to raise to 100 from the low 60s.
My Consultant told me that it would only take 3 years for the damage to heal. I obviously heal very slowly and it took 7 years for the muscle damage to resolve.
At last resting heart rate has dropped to the low 60s. Over the 8 years it has moved so slowly down through the 90s, 80s and 70s that I thought it would never go back to my usual normal. So I am really happy today.
All in hand. CBeebies, Netflix, Amazon Prime and later Youtube Minecraft for the big fella - 7- on his tablet, phone or iPad.
