My painting for today in Procreate following the candle tutorial.
Obviously I fail miserably compared to @Alien Aspie
Three quarters of an hour later...
My version of a candle (that's my excuse...), but I did learn a lot, and I know how to improve for next time.
And I do need to follow more of these mini tutorials.
And I need to create some more colour palettes.

My candle...

That's a cracking piece of digital art, reminded me of Tuscany early morning with the hill villages popping their heads above the early morning mist. Sit back and recover from your sublime yet crazy week with youngsters.

Well drawn candle, Christmas feel to it, likeit very much.

My day will get busyfrom now on, lunch to cook so I painted Plein Air yesterday evening for today. This is the view from the front of our house that faces two Sandstone Outcrops with Oak Trees, I liked the colours in the sky which changed very quickly as I painted.. A4 watercolour about 15 minutes... oh I did miss out about a dozen houses that would be in the foreground, can't paint buildings.....

I miss out buildings when I can, not romantic enough!

A beautiful view @Muddy Cyclist

That's a good word Ian, mind you if you had been a Calvinist you might have chosen propitiation! D.

Don't beat yourself up, Ian, you achieve very good fasting blood glucose results.

Whatever I do, I cannot get my under the graph figure to less than 45. But I have achieved my main aim, to stop R.H.

On keto I got my weight down to 13 stone, but didn't feel any better apart from getting rid of the daily hypos, the continual comments from the three women in my life, that I was underweight, were problematic.

That is a big subject A.A.
The bushmen would survive far better than us in the Kalahari and the Inuit, in the Arctic were far better off than Franklin.

Sadly, our, we want it all society, has screwed up first nation peoples with their almost innate habitat intelligence.

I hope the Eton brigade are up to saving the planet for our grandchildren.

I have long understood that intelligence is not measured by the perceived importance of someone's livelihood, nor is it related to the level of one's education. You only have to look at how the country is run for that to be apparent

Thank you. This is me being very laid back about something. My analysis of my last innings' every Monday was way more harsh. I have plenty of good advice on being relaxed about bg and consoling words for others. None of that applies to me. I am, of course, incredibly easy to live with

Yours has more feeling, I think it's great

As Carlo M. Cipolla said in his rules of stupid the second rule is:
The probability that a certain person (will) be stupid is independent of any other characteristic of that person.

Any way my fbg this morning was 4.6 after waking in the night feeling low with bg of 3.7 and having a snack.

Had a phone call from my son this morning seems he's off to Rome this month not a holiday but a 9 month course with the Franciscan order and he is very happy about that.

Judith had her dressing on her hand changed yesterday and is feeling a lot more comfortable she has to have it redressed on Tuesday looks like a week off work though as one handed touch typing isn't on her list of skills.

Hi Dunelm,
It is a long time since I was fit enough to go up there looking down on Bassingthwaite as if it was a map.
However, I use to like doing a Memory Map fly through when I had Windows 7 and XP.
D.
Yes, it’s pretty stunning
