What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

I love it.

Thank you.

We had something in kindergarten called tempera paints. I have never heard of them since. The paper was in big sheets and less smooth than writing paper but smoother than construction paper. The paint adhered well.

If he would be so kind as to point it at this govt, i for one would be most appreciative...

But i guess when your part of the problem of "preferred friends" over good business sense i doubt he'll be amenable.
but sure he's keeping a good eye out on what's going on back home..

well a late entry to the FBG Handicap Hurdle.

Runners are all at the post except..JJraak

A poor nights sleep was the excuse, no covid, but drained of energy say the stable.
but he's now cantering down with a 7.1 h'cap
over this 30 year (please god) course.
he's proved he's a good hurdler, but can he seriously keep taking these fences at his age ?

Tipster, Blithering O'leary suggest yes.

"well der is dat, i suppose, and he's not a young fella anymore,
but he has heart and last year doing the course in a PB
proved it, begorrah and bejasus"

"But with the stable being in lock down of late, due to the Bovine Virus JFM (Johnson foot in mouth)
Stamina will be lacking, but i do think, given the state of the ground this coming winter, he'll rise to the challenge,"

well that was one viewpoint....but seriously...

the issue won't be the runners in this years race,
it will be the constant and baffling rules changes, being implemented with little notice to the runners of stables.

"I doubt many of the northern stables, really have a clue what's going on" says one anonymous stable lad

and with that, back to the studio.."

Well the Plague Runners Roadshow, has been curtailed.

you may remember we got turkey cancelled...?

well Lauren isn't one to take that lying down

so she tee'd up another flight and rooms etc..
flying out this Sunday AGAIN...whoop whoop..

take that covid..bash, kapow.

got cancelled yesterday...

so at 2-0 down......what do good teams do ?

you are d@rn right..

we pressed and harried until we got one back..2-1..GO Runners GO.

weekend for two, short flight time..

ok, ok..i lied.....happy

it's BRIGHTON...and Sussex....not Boston

But it's away....of sorts.

new streets to walk, now places to find.
what's NOT to like

So for now the plague runners are English tourists,

so the tales will have an unusual English twist for us
which is nice.
And Hopefully with our trip, we help keep some afloat until the next season starts...

So pics of food still apply, EVEN IF we are eating on the beach, we'll just be in warm jackets, not swimwear.
...for now.

Sad ?..yeah a little..
BUT the world is still out there, and we'll see more of it, soon enough.

All we have to do is stick together, look after each other
and we'll be good for next year.

Not sure about this but you could try pencils (6B up to whatever hardness you fancy), inkpens or charcoals?

Wonderful colours and you are right, there would be randomness of a kind with water cutting the land. Looking forward to the finished work.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen. It's still dark outside and inside, hmm better switch a light on.

A 7.0 at 05:34 this morning on the meter of mystery and misbehaving.

Here in Tilehurst Towers we had an early start curtsey of a noisy piece of electronic equipment. Problem solved with the aid of a lump hammer. Brutal, but effective.

Me and me's are not a big fan of the idiot box, but I switched the box on, my how dire the programmes are and repetative, I have just watched the weather forecast twice in the last twenty minutes. The weather for Sunday looks good.
You read it first here.
Well fellow posters and painters have a great day and hopefully not so early. The call of dead cured pig and chicken embryo, washed down with koffy is strong.

Good morning everyone from a very dark and quiet early start in the dark and dangerous north

The wonder wheel of celeriac and leak colcannon topped with stir fry veg and lots of spicy chicken and chorizo rocked in at a flatter than a flat thing 5.0 this am

We came over to our little house on the prairie yesterday afternoon. The morning taken up with grandparent duties. So, no brushes or ink packed but still I can play with apps. Here then is a go at the In Pinn on the Isle of Skye - do not even go there for the number of layers. I wanted it wintry as the last time I was there, there was a fair bit of snow. The words ‘crampon” and “Terrordactyl” spring to mind.
I hope that everyone has a spiffingly good Saturday. Koffy time.

Thanks. I may try colored pencils first as I have a lot of them.
I may also try tracing the photos I have of the cats and then coloring them in. We used to make our own tracing paper in school.

I wish all you splendid people a very warm welcome to Saturday. May all your LC/Keto toast land on the non buttered side and tarry no more than 10 seconds. Michael, I ken not whether to take the money or open the box. Test, stab, wonder wheel, deeper into the Stygian gloom of lc/keto or blunder on regardless? (Anyone else find much of the theory on offer around LC like Phlogiston theory?) Oh, and don't try to trick me with that yes, no rubbish. @jjraak enjoy Brighton - take yer Parka and Peggy but you two be very discreet in those lanes please

5.4 this morning. Am up to date with admin and accounts so can have a proper day off on Sunday. It is such a lovely feeling knowing my desk is absolutely empty with no piles of paperwork on it.

I do feel quite tired with all the extra work Covid-19 has generated.

Bird watchers in Ian's Isle of Ely are having an exciting time this am. At 7.20am the massive Bearded Vulture was at Thorney, Cambridgeshire!
It has probably got an appointment with Boris on its trip back to the Continent?

Having a plan has helped. MrSlims poached pears irresistible, not helpful, but delicious.
Today is day eight of Cats antibiotics course. Poor Darling, it has given him an upset stomach from day one and he sometimes looks really miserable. Amazingly, still compliant about taking it. Sometimes purrs right up to the moment when I squirt the horrible stuff into his mouth. Makes me feel so guilty, as if it's cruelty. Please let it have worked.
Still masses to do here, fully occupied.
