Stunning - and your art is just as pleasing on the eye.good afternoon all
4.4 this morning
shopping day in the rain again, then we had to take the shopping straight over to mum's because she wanted ice-creamrather her than me
mr gee didn't sleep too well and has had a bit of a stiff neck for the last couple of days, I tentatively suggested it could be the flu jab, which suggestion met with disdainOh well, at least my arm is less stiff, sore and hot today
Hope your day is treating you kindly
@Alien Aspie - last garden bin collection of the season at mum's this week too.
@ianpspurs - hope everyone feels better soon
@dunelm - nice tree sketch, I like the delicate foliage
@Jen6 - hugs and I hope your visit to the neurologist goes well
@gennepher - cheery poppies thank youa pleasing blast of colour on a grey day.
@Muddy Cyclist - hope your results come back soon, it's a shame you are confined on a good day but 'better safe than sorry' as my gran used to say
art bit -

I feel I should give you a hug but decided on funny as your imagery had me chuckling, wellies and PJ's may I ask?The man with the 28sec korosene tanker came just as I got up today!
Despite Graham (the despatcher who I knew from a church in Carlisle we went to once) telling me yesterday the driver would be coming later in the morning.
So there I was, in a howling gale and pouring rain when opening the rear wide gate to the back of my garden after running up hill from the house, without a coat.
Of course I had a chain lock to take off the farm gate and a lock to take off the tank.
I could see the duchess doing that for me if I said, "I really need to come to before I go out!"
Such is the lot of the male of the species!
Mere beasts of burden.
Funny is fine, it was intended as funny.I feel I should give you a hug but decided on funny as your imagery had me chuckling, wellies and PJ's may I ask?
I can see why you liked those colours. A fine ink and wash drawing.pen and watercolour wash, based on a photo I saw on the net, I couldn't resist the colour
Lovely painting of what looks like a bolete mushroom - they turn blue if bruised. Good to hear that your arm is on the mend - stiff neck - bag of frozen peas - man up.good afternoon all

Looks good just as is. Like the cling film technique -looks like a sunburst through the cloudsAs promised a more abstract watercolour from me, not finished, not sure where it's going, I had Emerald Greens and Deep Purples in mind after watching the sun through our Holly Hedge, but now I'm not sure. Yes, I did use some cling film. Will finish Thursday if I get inspired but at the moment a complete blank.
A4 about 5 minutes painting, one minute scrunching cling film.....
