What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

5.7 this morning.

I don't know how this has happened, but I actually have a proper lunch break between classes. This hardly ever happens on a Saturday. So I am relaxing, reading and drinking coffee (of course). It is so lovely.

BG started off at 7.6, soon up to 8.1, when I started to move (alarm sounded) but I went back to sleep for another couple of hours and it came down to 7.0. (Just lost 2 sentences which just disappeared off the screen - try again.) Breakfast was carb heavy so I took insulin but must have misjudged it because Libre nagged at me for dropping too low. Oddly, I didn't feel that anything was wrong but when I checked I had dropped into the 3's, so a bit more of the breakfast carb. That didn't work and I dropped into the 2's - still felt OK though (must not be able to tell these days) but it was time to bring out the big guns - 2 digestive biscuits. That worked although, at that point I did start to feel it. Anyway, into the 5's now, so all's well. A bit tiring though.

Good morning all from Freddie our friendly fox. We went for our woodland walk yesterday morning despite the weather warning but it was better than forecast so we are glad that we went both for the fresh air and for the company. No test this morning, sorry, but I'm giving my fingers a rest after testing 4x/day for 2 weeks for my GP. Stay safe this week-end out of the wind and rain. :)
He is beautiful @dogslife
