Marvellous - the bear necessities of life will come to you.early riser today.
still can't get the numbers down as yet..
7.6..ho hum
on the plus side, been a lot more active
with right ankle strapped and in hiking boots, i can now mobilise
independent of crutches...Joy oh joy..
and yesterday, i even had the audacity to try out the scooter, all ok..so off i went.
drove to nephews to collect some bits from my stay, then onto supermarket.
the independence of my own mode of travel was exhilarating and the pleasure of looking at the food
on offer in the supermarket and deciding i want 'that'
can not be overstated.
as an aside.. a few weeks out of circulation and what a difference in the store.
everyone, i mean everyone in a mask, shop was fairly busy too.
off to cook my own breakfast,
of simple pleasures is life made joyful...

MrSlim has not been well for a few days.
It's horrible seeing him in such discomfort and being unable to help in any way.
He has had episodes like this before, but this one is longer and seems more debilitating. He has even stopped insisting he is fine...
Thank you @Muddy CyclistA good dual effort in your art today, nice blossom detail and good contrasting light.
As for bio, stopping and transcending is good and as my old mom used to say 'Remember to smell the roses along the way'
Sorry to upbraid a gentleman and scholar of your renown but bin day in Little Bidenland is on the morrow. Happy birthday Mrs Miggins and twin sister. Despite the veiled protestations a man with no eyes can see you love a spot of Laura A and burnish your new man credentials at every opportunity.Good morning everyone from the cold and wet inside of an otter’s pocket here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of ‘what’s cooking in that Ninja’ came in at 4.8 this am
My mother’s hip op dance routine went well so it’s not three days of intensive physio and then, all being well, home with a list of exercises and daily visits from the physio.
It’s Mrs Miggins’ birthday today and strangely enough it’s her twin sisters also. We usually go out for the day but I have the makings of an afternoon tea and one of those teapots for one sitting atop a cup and saucer - it’s all a bit Laura Ashley.
@Muddy Cyclist - Great Beech avenue looking extremely good - Lady Belle Catherine - I am pretty sure that my mother used to Clog to that one. Sounds a bit French/Cajun?
@geefull - thank you, your usual sort of thing is always so well and soothingly good - a great pleasure to see.
@gennepher - A super and well composed Cherry Blossom - I like the petals falling away from the tree - lazy days - I agree, they really are not doing nothing as some may suppose. Some of my cherished moments have been sitting on top of a hill or mountain and - well, just sitting on top of a hill or mountain.
@SlimLizzy - sorry to hear that Mr Slim is having a bad time of it - hugs abound, hope he turns a corner very soon.
Magpies - Pica Pica - quite a few in the park so let’s have a go - lots of bird looking shapes on my backing paper yesterday morning - some still in the early stages of evolving from dinosaurs. Anyhow, hope everyone has a splendid bin day. Koffy calls and other sounds await.

Ah - but International Bin Day falls on Odins Day. Must dash, I have a mug of tea to deliver and also to wrap up a replacement ironing board cover.Sorry to upbraid a gentleman and scholar of your renown but bin day in Little Bidenland is on the morrow. Thanks @gennepher - I am not allowed on swings after the last episode that cannot be mentioned and am relegated to duty pusher for the grandchildren.Thank you @dunelm for the cherry blossom compliment
I will be glad of the fine weather so I can sit on my swing again...and just swing...
