What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Very Jolly tune, Muddy, that should get the feet tapping.

good evening all

4.2 today

a quietish day inside because it was cold, wet and windy outside Did a bit of stitching up of my sweater (not my favourite bit ) and a bit of tidying.

Hope your day is treating you well

@gennepher - like the effect you've given us, it's like a portal in which you can replay your cherished memories, very well expressed

@dunelm - I really like this, very evocative and fun with your three fisherfolk. You always manage your space so well

@Muddy Cyclist - here's hoping you escape the worst of the tree root aches.
I like your painting, it's an impressive piece of art and I still love the way you've dealt with the water I enjoyed 'buttered peas' thank you, I think it's worked well

art bit - sorry, just a page from my little sketch book today, my computer can't 'see' the storage drive where I keep my scans, (last time that happened it was just a loose cable so hopefully an easy fix )

Thank you. Recording is very different to playing live with others. It needs to be very exact on the timing, when playing live you can swing it, recording much harder. I admire all these musical artists who manage it so well.

Thank you.

Thank you.
So useful those little sketch books, full of ideas and memories, this is a well sketched tree.

Hope IT issue is an easy fix.

I can eat Montezumas but I would absolutely refuse to eat a Diet Doctor recipe ever again.I don't think I ever finished a portion of those.
I must admit that I haven't seen a Diet Doctor recipe that I have been tempted to try. Reading your post it looks like that was a good decision.

Hope you sort out that computer issue easily @geefull

Thank you for my painting compliments

A brilliant study of a tree, well drawn.

Good Morning and 5.8 for me today. After a low carb meal of Salmon followed by Yoghurt, seeds and Almonds, I was then tempted and succumbed to a piece of St Agur with 2 small biscuits and 2 glasses of red, well maybe 3. Conclusion, digging up tree roots raises BG.

Bright with a promise of rain here today, still a tad chilly, needs to warm up soon as Log Store is looking depleted.

Mums day, so video call withMIL in nursing home and daughter dropping in for a clandestine stand in front garden with 5year old Grandaughter to see Mrs MC.

Grandaughters take on Virus."Mummy as we have gone back to school and you and daddy are back at school every day can we go in Nanny and Grandads house now?" Mummy replies "No" Grandaughter says, "So it's not gone away then!"

Kids they have more sense than most adults about this virus.

Keep safe enjoy Spring.

Thank you @geefull - sweater just about ready - out pops the sun.
A well drawn tree - hope the tec issue is just a wobbly lead.

Yes, strenuous exercise has definately raised your blood sugars - supervisory roles are best suited to the delicacies of appeasing the liver gods. Kids - straight to the point.

Good morning everyone of a day of shiny promise here in the dark and dangerous north.
The wonder wheel of Thai red curry with courgette noodles came in at 4.9 this am - cool - not the curry.

Didn’t go out yesterday - a bad night and then a catch up sleep later in the morning. Still, paid those annual utility bills that appear each spring and did a bit of baking. Had half an hour of zoom with my mother, hilarious tales of learning to walk again after her hip operation and some of the exercises that she has been given to do, “I never did get on with Ashtanga Yoga, you need to more Crane and I am a little Partridge.” Parents are having their second jabs next week.

Art - not sure - experimenting with wet brushes is a risky thing - never mind - sanity is not all it’s cracked up to be. Big hug to any mum who is isolating on her own today and hope everyone has a spiffing day. Koffy time.

Another wet grass day in Cumbria, its due to start at 0900 and the day seems to be pretty much covered with two spots by the Met Office.
I shall have to have my 30min walk round the garden with a golf umbrella if its not too windy!
Anyway, my body seems to have got over the Pfizer jab.
Mothering sunday today.
I am wondering how my wife will get a daffodil at our on line church service this am? I shall just have secrete one from the garden walk and present a crushed one from up my jumper!

Outgoing Sensor says: 5.6 (looks steady overnight which was always an issue until I changed the order of my meds)

A day of work beckons to ready the Britwatch ship for next week's tournaments etc so big brunch and toad in the hole for dinner tonight.

I hope both the Mothers and mothered manage to make this odd celebration work in some way shape or form. Take care over that daffodil @lindisfel. I have fond memories of that service and the flower giving. 91 yo MIL is in Julie's bubble so she is coming for lunch. Next Monday she moves to a bungalow 5 minutes walk from us and 5 mins walk across a park (both look onto) from No 1 son. Chicken day here so a nice compromise IMHO.
